The Opioid dashboard is a good example of this. In case you haven't figured out how to do it yet -- it doesn't require any code. You should be able to use the 3 existing web maps you have in one dashboard (each map will become a tab). The key is to "stack" the web maps (add map --> drag --> stack on top of other map). Click on the map tab you want to work with. Then as you add elements like charts you can drag and hold the shift key down to dock them in the currently-enabled tab. When you are dragging the items the docking elements turn green.

Interesting...this same question came up yesterday at the Milwaukee County GIS User meeting! I'm looking forward to any feedback as well because my orgs will be making the switch soon...

Reading some recent esri blogs I found another way to display 1:M attributes in pop-ups. If you have a hosted feature service in AGOL (not sure if this works in Enterprise portal) you can use the Join Features tool to create a 1:1 join. You can then define which value from the 1:M table to show: most recent date, for example. Then you can set the output to be a "hosted feature layer view" which can then be used to create pop-ups of the selected 1:M attributes. Because it is a hosted view it updates as you enter more rows in the :M table. Limitation ~ the output only includes a feature when there is a join, all others are dropped (until a :M entry is created).

Vote up for this (really old) idea! The setting for time zone should be in the AGOL feature service properties somewhere. You should not have to re-publish the service to change it.

This is a critical update that needs to be added ASAP. While it is nice to have the new option, we always default to feet for scales and rarely use miles. In many other WAB widgets you can set similar defaults and also the options available for the end user (see Measure tool).

This would be a great enhancement for me as well. I haven't had to do it yet (change to a new web map but keep dashboard widget settings), but I know it will happen sometime. It might be possible to do this through the AGOL Assistant / JSON editor, but it would be nice to do it right in the designer.

Hi Amanda, I was experimenting with this recently and my (admittedly quick) initial findings were that you can use the ArcGIS Online Assistant to update ItemIDs and feature service URL references in app widgets. But you need to make sure you properly catch every instance of the URLs/ItemIDs. I was able to get this quick test to work: Update the web map using the I Want to --> Update the URL of services in the map (as you know, this updates the map but then breaks the widgets). Update all of the layer references in the I Want To --> View an Items JSON --> click App --> manually Update all URL references and/or ItemID references in the JSON in both the Description and Data areas. I used Brackets to work with the code, and made sure I backed up the original JSON. In my apps I found that I had to update full URLs for the widgets, not ItemIDs. That is likely the result of the way I added the services to my web map originally - I directly pasted ArcGIS Server URLs rather than add registered services. Doing these steps (carefully) resulted in a web app with widgets and map layers that were changed from one map service to another. The caveat is, of course, that the feature class data structure should be identical (i.e. same attribute columns). If it isn't, then you might need to dig further into the JSON code. Also, I only tested relatively simple widgets (Search), I don't know how crazy it gets with ones like Infographics. As with all of this, it would be best to try it in a test version before working on production data. Heed Esri's warning that "this is untested and unsupported"...

I was able to create a dashboard similar to the Law Enforcement Daily Activity Dashboard example where there are tabs in the lower-left. Steps to do that: You need a unique web map for each of the tabs designed to match the layouts you have. As you add each web map, when you click the "Drag Item" button, you can dock the maps "on top of each other" (let go of the map in the center of the other one when it says "Stack the items"). Then you can start adding other elements (chart, list, guage, etc), click "Drag Item" and hold the shift key to dock them in the tab of your choice. When you hold the shift key the docking areas turn green. I think the year buttons in the Arizona Disaster Mitigation Projects dashboard are Category Selectors in a Header, which makes them queries of the single web map. I could be wrong about that though.

Yes, I *Always* check the delete protection option for practically everything I create in ArcGIS Online. My worry is that, even with that protection, an accidental deletion could still happen. Also, I've had experiences where users ask if we can restore a previous layer version because they accidentally deleted data they didn't mean to. Seems the best we can do now is vote for this Idea of an "Auto Backup" process.

Although I haven't encountered this problem yet, I worry about it happening. I'd be curious and appreciative to find out what the answer is if you contact tech support.

Sure you're welcome. Indeed, there is no real good way to "hide" the Near Me widget - it has to be docked like I have it or it has to be an optional tool that a user can click from the toolbar. FYI: It is possible to show all parcels and not just the selected one. See attached pic, its an option in the Near Me configuration called "Only draw selected layer results." If unchecked: all the parcels show.

Voted up. Its frustrating that this functionality is available in some apps but can't be as easily achieved in WAB. I have a partial workaround in this similar Idea thread involving the "Near Me" widget.

I figured out a workaround for this, but yes it would be nice if the related table info from 1:M could be displayed directly in the popups without the current "drilldown" method. I definitely voted UP for this idea. In the meantime, here's my workaround: Use the standard WAB widget "Near Me." Configure it for a single layer and limit the number of results to 1 in the search settings. When you set it up to search a Feature Class (1) : Related Table (M), the related records will show up at the bottom of the "Near Me" report. You can control the attributes that appear in the report in the web map popup area. Here's a link to the app that I am working on if you want to see it in action. It's a basic parcel viewer that shows parcel info/tax total (1) : payments made (M). Commercial and industrial properties are the ones that typically have 1:M examples (you can zoom+click the parcel to see the "Near Me" info without searching). The only drawback to this workaround is I don't think you can set the order of the entries coming from the :M table. The database is pretty simple. Parcel feature class (1) : Tax payment table (M). Was created using ArcGIS in a file geodatabase with relationship class. Published to ArcGIS Online as a feature service.

I was able to get the WAB Infographic widgets to work with my spatial views by changing the unique identifier field to use OBJECTID instead of GLOBALID at the time of map service publication. I got the idea from this thread about problems with Operations Dashboard.
