For the Pro setting I don't think there is a way to set this as default on but would recommend posting that in the Pro forum as a Q or Idea.  Labeling shouldn't be impacted by the checkbox.  JSAPI support for labeling is not at the same level as maplex on a desktop app like Pro. But if you see any issues if you can share a Pro project and I can check it out. Also for performance would be good to check out the pro project and see the complexity of the symbol and look into any issues.    For sharing you can toss the pro project into a group and invite russell_jsapi into it. ... For map services and wms layers they can have a grouping at the service level. You could republish that service you linked above to have that grouping you want. Feature Services or feature layers do not retain this grouping so it wont be present if you add the feature service or the map service at the layer level of the REST endpoint.   The grouping you can create in the Map Viewer that gets saved to the web map is not supported in Map Viewer Classic and other 3.x apps like Web App Builder. These 3.x apps wont read this spec and the layerlist wont be able to display it. Thanks, I've added this to our dev issue on the polygon clustering side.  Could you use a point feature for each campaign.  Then have a  1:M relationship to the monitoring hub (guessing that could be the polygon boundary) to the multiple campaigns taking place within it? Then you could cluster the campaign layer and label like you need above. ... View more

I would try to direct them to the item but if they go to the URL they will lose a lot of the configuration. Right now you are just getting a default field list popup which doesn't retain and alias overrides, decimal place separators, decimal places or date display configuration. If you add other popup elements like media, charts or related records during the authoring process these will be lost if the user goes to the URL and will add it to a new map.  ... View more
