Sorry Andrew, I did not see your post from earlier today. What error are you seeing? Are you using Hosted Service or ArcGIS Server 10.2.2? Are you using iOS or Android? You can try to use the python script listed here which will take your collected features and bring them into a geodatabase. You could try copying over the folder from the one Android device where it is not syncing and paste it into another android device with it working and it should pick it up and that way we can determine if the sync is just related to the device. You would copy the data at the account folder under ArcGIS_Collector >offline_data and then paste it under to another device in that same offline_data folder and when you start the app sign in with the same account the was used to download it and try to sync the features there. When taking a map offline and you are defining the work area and level of detail it will only go off of the map extents and not current location. When you open the map either before downloading or after downloading and location settings are enabled you will zoom to your current location. Russ ... View more

If you collected new features and not edited features you can use a python script to copy the stuff into a gdb and you can merge it into the data you already have. Can you try force closing from the device settings and trying to to relaunch the app and sync? Thanks Russ ... View more

Which layer are you trying to sync and it is failing on? I tried collecting features and they sync'd back without any issue and then I was able to delete the features and sync those back and the sync count always updated. ... View more

The map data should never be removed unless you go into manage and choose to remove the features. Are you using hosted services or ArcGIS Server services that are token secured? Are you using the 10.2.3 version of the Collector app. Russ ... View more

You need an editable layer so the map gets flagged to be opened by the Collector. You can also disable editing on a layer in the web map and the app will respect it but you will still need at least one layer editable to get that Collector flag. All layers will still require full editing and sync enabled but the web map will block the editing capabilities. Russ ... View more

The collector only retrieves maps that are either owned by the account you are signed in with or maps that have been shared across groups. The app does not pull down all maps that have been shared across your org. Russ ... View more
