Right now you can only access tables through features. There is no standalone table support in the app from which you can pull up an attribute table and then dive into related features/tables.

This is currently not supported in ArcGIS Online but can be used with your 10.3.1 Portal. We are working towards support for hosted scene services which will come in a future release of ArcGIS Online. Cheers Russ

You can disable editing on the parent features popup when you are authoring the web map. Then when you identify a feature the option to edit it will be disabled but the related records will still have the set editing capabilities. Cheers Russ

They are still there. Under My Content click on the Create drop down menu and then click on Feature Layer and it will bring up this New Hosted Feature Layer page and you can publish your own bridge inventory/inspection service.

Are you using an ArcGIS Online organization or Portal for ArcGIS? If you are using ArcGIS Online you do not need to use tiledbasemaps.arcgis.com to download the map. Also for the other basemap layer does it support export tiles and is it hosted or coming from your ArcGIS Server?

Is your Org SSL enabled? I was able to reproduce the issue when I enabled SSL and the service was not accessible. When I disabled SSL the service was accessible and the Find Location options were available.

Your Organizational role might not have the ability to publish hosted feature services and that is why you cannot take your shapefile and publish it up as a hosted service.

If you are using the geocode service for single address or place search this will not consume credits which is what the search widget does. Batch geocoding will consume credits. Russ

To add to Jennifer's answer you can add a shapefile to the map through Add > Add layer as file. Then when it is in the map there is an option to click Save Layer. When you click this button it will save the shapefile as a feature layer item to your "My Content" and it can then be added to other maps through the workflow you mentioned in the original post. This wont publish a hosted feature service when you save the layer but you have the option to publish it as new hosted feature service if you want to have other apps like Collector to be able to edit or collect data on this layer from the layers item detail page. Hey Peter, I am seeing the options to setup feature search working with your map. I was using the chrome browser. The feature search will work with both Map and Feature services that support query. When you save the map under map details you check on Find Locations, then check the box for By Layer and click Add Layer.
