I did a quick test with this workflow on iOS and couldn't reproduce this issue. Couple things to check out -The layer allows updates/edits. If its an Add only layer it will not allow updates. The owner of the layer can still add this to a map in the map viewer with full editing enabled but its only exposed to the owner that full editing is enabled. -Make sure Ownership based access control is disabled. If any features in the map have creator info then the creator is the only one that can edit and delete the features. You can still have editor tracking enabled with ownership based access disabled.

Make sure your phone can access the portal. Try accessing the portal from a web browser on your device and see if it can access the portal there. If it cannot then you will have to check what network your LG phone is on. Russ

The Collector app only supports collecting and editing data coming from an ArcGIS Server Feature Service or Hosted Feature Service. If you are using a feature service and some users are not seeing the options to edit existing features it could be due to ownership based access enabled on the service. This is will restrict users of the service to be able to only edit features that they created and they will not be able to edit or delete features that they do not own.

You need itunes to sync the device with your computer still and then you can use other programs like iFunbox to access apps sandboxed folders.

It is a hosted service. When you go to the service URL you should see a Service Item: unique ID section on the REST endpoint. Can you take that uniqueID and see if it matches the ID in the URL for the item page for the tree inventory item. If the Service Items IDs do not match then you will know you are not the owner of the service. You can switch out the IDs and go to that item detail page and see who the owner is if you have access to it.

Go to the service URL. if it is not a services.arcgis.com/arcgis/rest/services URL then it is probably coming from an ArcGIS Server. If it is coming from a services.arcgis.com URL then it probably means you are not the original owner of the serivce and the service does not support export.

Is it coming from an ArcGIS Server and not a hosted feature service? If it is an item that was created when you added an ArcGIS Server service to your AGOL content, that will not display any options to download/export the data through the item detail page. Russ

When it is added to Collector as a tpk, does it not become a tiled service? Correct it does not becomea tiled service when added to the Collector app, it will be stored locally on the device. Is it still considered a tpk even though it is being used as a basemap which has tiled data? If you are using a basemap you downloaded or sideloaded onto the device it will be a tpk, the tpk is tiled data and being used as a basemap Regarding the max extent, I have set up the default extent, I just received a request that the users not be able to zoom out past a certain point. If I can set up the tpk then that will work just as well, even better since I realized I actually also need to set a minimum zoom extent. Using a tpk, or hosted tiled service for the basemap will solve the min zoom level and max extent requirements Cheers Russ

Sideloaded and Downloaded tpks are the same thing. Its pretty much describing where the tpks are coming from. You could take a tpk you downloaded in the Collector app and sideload it onto another device and there are no credits be used in this workflow. You could create a tpk in desktop and sideload that to app as well and this as well wont burn through any credits. Where credits would come into play is if you took that tpk you generated in desktop and uploaded it to AGOL and published a tiled service. That would cost some storage and tile generation credits but from that hosted tiled service you could download tpks from if you enable the tiled service for offline use. Currently the only way to limit the max extent in Collector is through the basemaps extent. The app has a bookmark displayed by default that is the maps default extent and could be used to help return the field user to the default extent of the map if they pan out of view.

You can use sideloaded TPKs or downloaded tpks in the connected maps as well as the disconnected maps. This would be one of the ways you could restrict your map. Also downloading a basemap in Collector and using Esri's default basemaps in a connected map does not charge credits. Credits are used for tile generation when created a hosted tiled service(this as well can be used to view and download in Collector as well) and for storing the tiles and tpks under your org. this is a public/free account and not a trial account. You should be seeing your account profile under your orgs URL which would look something like jameswv.maps.arcgis.com . Right now you are just under arcgis.com and that is a view that public accounts would see. Also the role information would be displayed in the same colum as region, units. You would also see organization and organization URL on this page. Can you try and spin up a free trial under the URL i posted in a comment above. Thanks Russ

Your firewall could be blocking access to your server. You can try to use a vpn app like JunosPulse to connect to your network and then try reloading the web map and layers again and see if that works. Russ
