Hi Paul, Does the crash occur on both 32bit and 64bit iOS devices? It is possible that the crash occurs only on 64bit iOS devices. And, Nakul might be using a 32bit iPad. Blake's iOS Device Specification Grid Regards Shobana

This could be related to [QTBUG-52568] iOS: crash when Quick Controls ComboBox is used after TextField - Qt Bug Tracker The workaround suggested in the bug report is to use activeFocusOnPress: true in the QML ComboBox. Thanks Shobana

The language used in Quick Report app is determined by the device's language settings. Spanish is already supported in apps created from the Quick Report template. The buttons in the app will display Spanish text if the device's language is set to Spanish. Currently it is not possible to change the default language in the app for iOS and Android. On desktop platforms, it is possible to have desktop system language as English but the app appear in Spanish by launching the app with "--locale localeCode" command line parameter. e.g., The locale code for Spanish is "es". Quick report app launched using below command will display Spanish text. C:\Users\username\Applications\ArcGIS\MyApp\MyApp.exe --locale es Thanks Shobana

Hi Paul, The title bar with minimize, maximize and restore buttons can be hidden by passing "--show fullscreen" command line parameter when launching the app. C:\Users\username\Applications\ArcGIS\MyApp\MyApp.exe --show fullscreen Other possible command line values are, --show maximized ( Shows the window as maximized.) --show minimized ( Shows the window as minimized.) --show normal ( Shows the window as normal, i.e. neither maximized, minimized, nor fullscreen.) Currently the maximized mode is used when "Full Screen" setting is enabled in AppStudio Settings tool. This will be fixed to use the "--show fullscreen" mode in next AppStudio update( scheduled for release towards end of next month). Thanks Shobana

Hi Paul, Please turn ON the "Full screen" setting for your app before submitting a Cloud Make request. Please note that this setting will take effect only on Desktop(Windows, Mac OSX and Linux) in stand alone apps created using Cloud Make. The setting does not get used when playing your app in App Player. Thanks Shobana

Hi Paul, app.settings.path returns the absolute path to the settings json file. e.g. By default app.settings.path returns /Users/username/ArcGIS/AppStudio/Settings/App_ItemID.json on Mac OS X What is the path assigned to settingsFolder in the code above? Below code works on iOS both in Player and stand alone app ```` Component.onCompleted: { app.settings.setValue(“textColor”, “blue”) } FileFolder { id: settingsFolder path: AppFramework.fileInfo(app.settings.path).path } Button { text: "Delete" onClicked: { console.log(settingsFolder.fileExists(app.settings.path)); // Prints true settingsFolder.removeFile(app.settings.path); console.log(settingsFolder.fileExists(app.settings.path)); // Prints false } ```` Thanks Shobana

Hi Patrick, Can you please try if your app works with the below copyLocalData function. App {
id: app
width: 640
height: 480
function copyLocalData() {
AppFramework.userHomeFolder.makePath("ArcGIS/Runtime/Data");
app.folder.copyFile(inputGeodatabase, outputGeodatabase);
return outputGeodatabase
}
} The root object of all AppStudio apps is the App object. It contains a property called folder which is the current app's folder path. app.folder works both in AppPlayer and stand alone apps built with Cloud Make.

Hi Eric, This is not by design. AppStudio uninstaller attempts to delete all files in C:/Users/<username>/ArcGIS/AppStudio. AppStudio uninstaller also attempts to modify a common QtCreator configuration file to reset AppStudio help path. Was QtCreator open when AppStudio was uninstalled? Thanks Shobana

Hi Gerhard Trichtl, Thanks for the feedback. This issue has already been fixed and will be included in the next AppStudio Beta update. With AppStudio Beta 3, please use the below workaround. - Open C:\Users\UserName\Applications\ArcGIS\YourAppName - Rename YourAppName.exe(with incorrect characters) to correct App name - Launch YourAppName.exe. (Note: Desktop shortcut also has to be manually recreated after renaming the YourAppName.exe) Regards Shobana

Hi Andy, Apple's documentaion File System Basics states that the files stored in temp folder will not persist between launches of your app. The discussion in IOS How do I prevent files from being backed up to iCloud and iTunes | Qt Forum also suggests using Objective-C code to solve this problem. cc: Lucas Danzinger Thanks Shobana
