Do I have to use OAuth on flex viewer 3.7 or can I wait until we upgrade to 10.3? That is good to know about being able to use the FV offline. We are currently on 3.1. Thanks, Janie

Hi, Will FlexViewer 3.7 work with ArcGIS Server 10.2.1? I thought I would go to FlexViewer 3.7 then on to the new JS App Builder. Thanks, Janie

Hi, Apparently the problem is now fixed. This was either a security issue or the service was just down temporarily. I'm very happy to say my production FlexViewer web apps are now all working. Thanks ESRI! Janie

Hi, For a few days now, this web service has not been available. Will the rest web service be coming back? We use the tetonic layers and fault layers for our Emergency Management Flex Viewer. http://edumaps.esricanada.com/ Thanks, Janie

Hi, I need to know if the data shown in the sample server 3 for Earthquakes1970 is accurate data. Is this just test data or is it all US significant earthquakes during the listed time period 1970-2009. http://sampleserver3.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/Earthquakes/Since_1970/MapServer/0 I would like to compare the current earthquake data to this data to see changes in the location of US earthquakes. Thanks, Janie

Hi, I am upgrading from 10.1 to 10.2.1. I used the default arcgis for the web adaptor name. (That way I didn't have to change my flex viewer layer's URL to each web service.) When I uninstall the web adaptor from the enterprise web server, will that delete the Virtual Directory to arcgis? Or do I have to go in web server software, after the uninstall, and remove the virtual directory name for arcgis? See Migration Checklist information on the Web Adaptor http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/install-guides/arcgis-server/10.2/01nm/01nm0000001w000000.htm If your ArcGIS Server instance used the default name of arcgis and you want to maintain this in your upgraded site using the Web Adaptor, you need to do some preparatory work before you run the Web Adaptor setup. Using your web server software, remove the virtual directory named arcgis. Then delete the folder on disk that was holding the files for the ArcGIS Server instance, for example, C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\arcgis. (You may want to create a backup before you do this.) Finally, install the Web Adaptor and run the Web Adaptor configuration page. Or was this just for folks prior to 10.1? Thanks for any help! Janie

Hi Rodolfo, I am reading the system requirements in preparing for my upgrade to 10.2.1. The real show stopper for you maybe the 32 bit operating system. Check this out: http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/install-guides/arcgis-server/10.2/index.html#/System_requirements/01nm00000014000000/ ArcGIS Server: System requirements Supported operating systems Support will no longer be provided for 32-bit operating systems. The ArcGIS for Server setup will only proceed if the operating system is 64 bit. The 64-bit operating systems below satisfy the minimum operating system requirements: ?Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard and Datacenter ?Windows Server 2012 Standard and Datacenter ?Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard, Enterprise, and Datacenter ?Windows Server 2008 Standard, Enterprise, and Datacenter ?Windows 8.1 Professional and Enterprise ?Windows 8 Professional and Enterprise ?Windows 7 Ultimate, Enterprise, Professional, Home Premium Hope this helps, Janie

Thanks to all. Bubba I already did what you mentioned without success. William , I had reviewed the following link about web adaptor: http://resources.arcgis.com/es/help/arcgis-server-web-adaptor-for-iis-help/10.2/index.html#//01n10000000v000000 It says that web adaptor 10.2 is supported by server 2003 standard SP2 but in the link that you sent me windows 2003 is not mentionated. Which of the two links should we believe? Best Regards, Hi Rodolfo, You said in the beginning your were installing on windows server 2003 R2 SP2 32 bits. I think that you maybe hitting this because you are R2. I am Windows 2008 R2. I have to notice if my R2 is supported also. They are listed separately in whether they are supported or not in the lists. Hope this helps, Janie

Don't think it is updated yet, but really 10.2.1 is just a service pack, I see no differences in the install http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/install-guides/arcgis-server/10.2/index.html#//01nm00000002000000 Hi Bubba, So you are saying the difference in 10.2.2 and 10.2.1 are just a service pack. So the install guide for 10.2.1 ArcGIS Server is the same for both versions? Thanks, Janie

Hi, I see the ArcGIS Server Install Guide for 10.2.2. But I need the same thing but for 10.2.1. http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/install-guides/arcgis-server/10.2/01nm/01nm00000002000000.htm I am installing from ArcGIS Server Enterprise Advanced 10.1.1 IIS SQL Server to 10.2.1. We are on an ELA and can't get 10.2.2 yet. I am a single site installation with the web adaptor on the Enterprise Web Server. Thanks, Janie
