Hi Karen, Sorry to hear about the trouble. I think you're looking for the portalUrl property: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/api-reference/esri-config.html#portalUrl We have this doc'ed in some samples to use a resource from your own Portal: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/sample-code/sandbox/index.html?sample=webmap-basic

Hi George. I'm not sure you can do this with the JS API. I believe you would need to create and use a custom Print template published from ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro.

I just tested a variety of 3.28 samples on a Samsung Galaxy s8 (Android 9) with Chrome (75.0.3770.101) and they all seem to work fine. What specific versions of device, OS, and Chrome are showing this issue?

I think the issue is related to adding a vector basemap to the list of raster basemaps in the basemap gallery widget. If you just use the list of vector basemaps, the thumbnails look fine. Example: https://codepen.io/noash/pen/NZKZNy -Noah

It's difficult to say without knowing the actual code involved. Perhaps something like just toggling visibility? Examples: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/sample-code/?search=toggle

Hi Joe, I do not believe it is possible to move a custom widget from Web AppBuilder to an ArcGIS API for JavaScript application. The file structures of the two products are very different. Here are some helpful resources for you: Widget Development (guide doc) https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/guide/custom-widget/ Building Your Own Widget - Esri Dev Summit 2019 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMmBsEanUws&list=PLaPDDLTCmy4Y0GMTl0O4V6LF3EmxIAivv&index=154&t=0s Customizing Widgets - Esri Dev Summit 2019 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdX7qI1oLUs&list=PLaPDDLTCmy4Y0GMTl0O4V6LF3EmxIAivv&index=155&t=0s -Noah

Hi Dave, Sorry to hear about this ongoing issue. I'd like to investigate your use case and see where the trouble is. Printing a FeatureLayer from a URL or portalItem should be fine. Printing a FeatureLayer from a Collection can be an issue. However, based on the screenshot supplied above, I believe what is being added to the map is a GraphicsLayer. Can you confirm? I am currently looking into the Bug # and Case # that you referenced above to try to understand better. -Noah

Correct, upgrading to 4x would be a rewrite of your application(s). But something worth considering for future projects. I would not recommend using sampleserver6 for production applications. That service is primarily used for samples and testing. The AGO utility print service or your own hosted print service would be recommended. Task: Export Web Map Task

Hi Israel, For 3x, the Print dijit is the easiest way to print an image of the map. You can define the format (e.g. jpg/png) using the PrintTemplate. 3.28 Sample https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/3/jssamples/widget_print_webmap.html If you're able to use the 4x version of the API, which I highly recommend, then you can also use the Print widget or the MapView.takeScreenshot() method. 4.11 Sample https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/sample-code/widgets-print/index.html

Hi Kevin, I noticed that in your sample you have an issue with the modules. There is a local argument passed in for "Query", but this module is not actually loaded. This means that Query is the alias for "esri/layers/GraphicsLayer", and GraphicsLayer is the alias for "esri/Graphic". Removing the Query local argument will help. It feels like there is more work to be done here, but this moves it one step further (and I can see some changes when using the Fatalities slider). updated sample https://codepen.io/noash/pen/xNGaXQ

Archana, we do not have an official solution for this workflow at this time, but it is under consideration. Same for what Chad said about including the Esri Weather font. Will keep this thread updated when we have some news to share.
