Unfortunately, I think the issue you are seeing is caused by the data. Each feature (polygon) is labeled as close to the centroid as possible. So if there are no outlines for the features, it can appear that there is groupings when really there aren't. Hi Diego, what version of the API are you using, and what specific layer are you labeling? I'm not 100% sure what you mean by "ImageLayer".

We have a Feature widget Feature | ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.13 Do you mean the Feature Table widget? If so, we are still in active development to get this widget out in the near future. Will release more details as things progress.

Hmm, I tested this functionality as a sanity check, and it is possible to do. Test app (toggle state labels on and off with the button at the bottom) https://codepen.io/noash/pen/MWWbWZy Perhaps the MapServer you're using doesn't support dynamic layers? You need it to in order to make changes dynamically. When you inspect the MapServer from REST, do you see: Supports Dynamic Layers: true ?

It looks like if you uncomment line 1829 in the github code (it was line 1699 for me locally), and set the `open` property to `true`, the legend swatches show by default. item.panel = { content: "legend", //open: true }
