Hi Emma, As far as I can tell you need to set the label display in AGOL, they won't translate from your ArcMap MXD settings. I'm hoping that ArcGIS Pro will be able to import these type of MXDs and publish them online with the proper label settings so we don't have to spend all that time setting them for individual webmap. -Adam

This shouldn't make much of a difference if you had success with Beta1, but what browsers are you testing your deployed apps in? I'm running Chrome & IE11 for mine, but I also test in FireFox and Opera. I find sometimes my changes take a while to appear in the deployed version of my apps I guess due to caching in my frequently used browsers (Chrome/IE) so I like to keep FF/Opera very clean to check new deployments.

You could duplicate that layers. One set with labels, one without. Then set the visibility of the non-labelled layers to turn off when zoomed into the level you want the labels to display at, and set the labelled layers to turn on. I was going to demo on you test map, but I didn't have edit privileges.

I have been having issues with my Basemap widget loading when deployed on our webserver, but most other widgets seem to work for me, with the notable exception of the Print widget. I have never got that to work properly, what's you secret? Are you using the default service?

I'm working on a municipal infrastructure GIS update project that is going to involve survey crews collecting 5 cm accurate GPS data. Traditionally this has been done with ArcPad loaded on a capable GPS unit, but is the Collector App on an iPad able to replace this set up? One of the hurtles I'm dealing with is finding a GPS unit that I can pair with the iPads that would be accurate enough. iSXBlue II is getting close and the SXBlue III GNSS has the accuracy, but I'm not sure about the compatibility with iOS devices. Putting the possible hardware issues aside for a minute, is there a good reason to stick with ArcPad instead of using the Collector App? Collector seems to have a lot of advantages in map display and integration with ArcGIS Online. I'm pretty unfamiliar with ArcPad, so any opinions would be appreciated.

Hi Jeff, I was looking for the helpful or answered option for your last post, but the best I could do was Like it. Maybe because I hijacked Josef's discussion I don't have permissions to mark it answered.

Excellent, got it figured, thanks. It just involved adding some XML code to the conf.xml file from my previous package. <LODInfo xsi:type='typens:LODInfo'> <LevelID>20</LevelID> <Scale>564.24858800000005</Scale> <Resolution>0.14929107082380849</Resolution> </LODInfo> <LODInfo xsi:type='typens:LODInfo'> <LevelID>21</LevelID> <Scale>282.124294000000025</Scale> <Resolution>0.074645535411904245</Resolution> </LODInfo> <LODInfo xsi:type='typens:LODInfo'> <LevelID>22</LevelID> <Scale>141.0621470000000125</Scale> <Resolution>0.0373227677059521225</Resolution> </LODInfo>

We are using our own tile packaged basemaps loaded onto our iPads through iTunes, however I still seem to be encountering the max zoom level of 1:1,128. This make sense because we don't have the option when making the tile packages for greater detail than 1:1,128. Is there a way around this? I should mention we do not have ArcServer and we are relying solely on ArcGIS Online.

I would also like to zoom in beyond 1:1,128 to 1:564 or 1:282. We are evaluating using collector with a survey grade GPS to capture infrastructure with 5 cm accuracy. Not having the ability to zoom close enough is forcing us to use ArcPad on the GPS units. Is there a solution planning for this?

Is anyone working on an enhanced Layer List that would allow grouping of layers? I'm still stuck using ArcGIS Online which restricts the size of tilepacks I can upload to ~2GB. This forces me to chop orthophoto mosaics into 20+ pieces for some projects to get them the entire mosaic online. It would be nice to have these all grouped into one layer for the end user to reduce the clutter in the Layer List.

Ha, I still haven't learned that lesson. The only reason I didn't skim the entire document was that I was hoping for an easy way to change the loading screen/GIFs colour back to beta 1, or closer to our company colours. I did notice they got the globe spinning the right way for beta2.
