You're very patient Tim, I see now (so used referencing the variables before the tool). I'm also still confused about what's going on! I'll leave this to the smart people. Good luck!

Are you sure of the brackets for some of those? where clause - is hydro_id a list you get the index 0 from? condition_barriers - looks funky, brackets and list in a list, as well as the [0] also? if condition barriers is wrong wouldn't that cause what you're experiencing?

Might just turn your polygons to lines then run the selection (within a distance) that way. Edit - seen reply. Great minds...

It would be referencing a raster layer in the Pro window right?

Convert the raster to a polygon, then clip your grid by that new polygon. Compare the areas of the resulting grid cells and delete any that aren't the same as before. may even be faster to select and delete them individually if i'm honest.

That's a strange one. I previously said output as tif also - when obviously the output is a vector (duh) so ignore that please. The input for countour interval has an error recorded against it when input is double, of which 0.5 is a member so that's weird Maybe try an integer just to see if the documentation is wrong? the Input for the tool is identified as raster layer also - maybe try MakeRasterLayer(in_raster, out_rasterlayer, {where_clause}, {envelope}, {band_index}) but why the error doesn't jump to that I'm not sure

Have you always used a file geodatabase raster as input? exporting a subset as a TIFF and using that as input/output might narrow down some potential issues, as you mentioned you may have regional (,) encoding of decimals.

What's the output destination set to in _SingleJunctionoEdges in the iterated tool? Have you used inline variable substitution? If not, I would guess your output is just being overwritten each time. Or script that bad boy...

This is part of the response I got for a query where "YEAR" = 1919 # records: 16 NAME: GARDEN ACRES ALLOTMENT Polygon: [-9141222.31186397, 5069845.923964623] , [-9141222.747544937, 5069827.942339513] , [-9141222.960846914, 5069819.061472847] more... ArcMap and Pro both show these as polygons, and are downloadable as polygons in Pro using Feature Class to Feature Class. However.... Downloading the data as shapefile results in a line shapefile, made up of the perimeters of the polygons. I would guess it's whoever made the shapefile and put it in the zip for ftp.

I guess you mean feature classes in an FGDB and exporting them to shapefiles. Feature Class To Shapefile (Conversion)—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation as an arcpy script, then have it as a bat file for windows scheduler to run.

without more information this could be caused by many things. Is it registered to the EGDB and has it got a geometry field and spatial index?

That's very strange the snap raster isn't being honoured. Maybe another environment overriding it? How about extract by mask or right-click->data->export raster?

I'm not sure what I mean either! Think I confused the geodatabase versioned view with the versioned FC (luckily and evidently I have no dealings with versioning day-to-day) and thought that the geodatabase connection properties being set to the version might be in the .sde connection file. I do remember now reading something about the with statement causing issues on cursors for versioned stuff? Good luck!
