The second image sample shown is using Arcade. But it will not let me filter, sort, of even just show the values. You must click on Show for every single record. A join would be static so I would have to remake it everyday. thanks

Is there a way I can limit the Count values that a Serial chart shows? I have a chart of my "Key" values grouped with a stat of Count. The counts run from 0 to 8. I want the chart to NOT show any 3 values. I just want to chart/show/list (or whatever) all the Keys that are not 3. So chart 0,1,2,4,5,6,7,8 only. So if there are more or less than 3 records with the same Key (say Plot245) it is a problem but if it is 3 its fine. 3 records have Key Plot34 2 records have Key Plot35 1 record has Key Plot66 Then I only want to chart/list etc Plot35 and Plot66. Plot34 should be hidden. I want to show Red but not show any of the blue values. Thanks

Also I can get the relationship count to show up in AGOL but when I try to use this in the new Collector it shows nothing. Popup in AGOL shows the 0 just fine. Collector it is just blank. Even when online.

In a web map the Attribute table will show you how many related records there are for each Relationship Class. Like this Is there any way I can get\use this number? Any way to use it to symbolize? Sort by? For example I want to be able to tell the user they only have 2 LPI forms when it should be 3. AKA how can the user get a list of features that were not fully completed. In Arcade I can do a check using FeatureSetByName but then I again cannot symbolize or filter. Plus the user would have to click show a thousand times in the attribute table. (The word Complete is where I clicked) All of these expressions are also hidden from Ops Dashboard. They will show in a popup but cannot use for filters or anything like that. If Ops Dashboard cannot use Arcade can it get this Related records number at all? Any other ideas on how to do a dynamic QC to see if the job is complete based on the number of related records? I know I can run some analysis but that becomes static in time. Meaning I have to run it on the regular. It also means a download, run, upload. I have tried to run analysis directly from the Feature service using a SearchCursor /JSON - and it works great on FCs but on tables it does not work (should but just doesn't). In this case all the main level relates I am checking are FCs so this may work actually in this case. Also cannot use the Arcade expression in any of the Analysis tools in AGOL. thanks a lot

CreatedDate is a AGOL thing not a Survey123 thing. If I remember right it will not be populated until it is sent up to AGOL since AGOL is the one doing all the editor tracking. There may be some secret field in the background though that Survey123 sends but no idea. I know there is a field called start and end that keeps track of the time the form was opened. Why not just have a field called FormDate or something and put the default or calc in as now()? I do not think now() will update when you reopen the form (which is good). If it does than once(now()) may work. I would like this answered as it could make a difference for me.

I cannot tell which version you are using but every time this happened to me it was due to have a nested repeat. That should work now but if you have an older version this may be it. You cannot have anything that is 3 levels deep at all. So if you have a table that has attachments off of it - you will get this error.

I was just going to write that it may be commas. Happened to me. Note it seems to be commas anywhere in external choices - even columns you do not use. Also had issues if there are any " or ' in there. You get really weird lists and data stored so it can be hard to figure out.

Your two questions in Red. 7. No I mean a regular Feature Service. So in ArcMap - Share As Service then check the Feature access box. 8. Use the Feature Service URL from 7 above. Paste this in to the Settings page then give the Form name that matches the name of that layer in the Feature Service. So if you published it as Feature Layer Xname put Xname in the Form name and the URL in the settings tab in Excel to match. Then you just republish so that the URL change is up on the web. Then the original Survey123 service will not be used anymore but the Form Item will be. I do see errors in the workflow you posted. This part is wrong ""Steps in Survey123: Launch Survey123 Connect: Click New Survey > Click the radio button "Feature Service" > Click the feature service published from the data created in the first part of this document > Create Survey In Survey123 Connect click the "Settings" button > Inbox > Enable "Inbox mode" > Disable the setting to "Apply a spatial filter when the map view of surveys is visible" Publish this survey to ArcGIS Online"" You do not Create the Survey123 from the FS. You first create it in Survery123, then download and paste, - then create the FS using ArcMap then just point Survey123 to it. Remember you are just repointing Survey123 to a different Hosted Feature Service. Also you are not going to use the Inbox feature. Not sure where this part came from. So to some up. First you create a new Feature Service from Survey123 like always. Then download this service template gdb and add it to the "master" gdb. Publish this "master" gdb as a totally new Feature Service *using ArcMap. Then point Survey123 form to this new service that ArcMap created. Republish the form so that this repointing is in the Form on the web (but no Feature services will be changed at all in this step - you are only repointing the form). Also using Gloabal ID can be funky (but I think not anymore). I would use another key. Hope that helps. You can PM me if you like. I am on furlough and bored so I can help you out if you like.

I found the page for beta exams here Early Adopter Community | Esri Early Adopter Program but when I go to the Early adopter website there are no opportunities for exams. In fact the only one i see is Survey123. I am using my personal account as I am not sure on using my govt account right now. I would like to take the beta to save the money since I am a govt contractor currently on furlough. (Esri should be running a special for us!) If I go to Pearson it does let me sign up for the beta exam so do I just do that? Also it looks like you can take them at home instead of the test center now? Has anyone tried this? Thanks a lot

The help states "Conversely, when a list is the target of an action such as a map extent change, the list can filter so the data it displays corresponds with the map's new extent." But in the Map actions page of the map under When the map extent changes - no List element will even show up as a possible target. What gives? Note if I select items in the map the List will change based on it but changing the extent does nothing. Also is there any way to get the number of items in a list? I want to pass it to an indicator but I see no way. I can pass what is Selected but not a count of the entire list. So say I have 600 features and I use a category selector to bring it down to 10. How can I pass that number 10? If I select all 10 I can get it but no. It would also be really nice to filter the map based on all the features in the list not just the selected. Even a select all button in the list would be nice. Thanks

No linking to a dashboard does not work. Why? Because the data may have changed! I know in this day and age it can be hard to get printing stuff out (I hate paper) but it serves as a snapshot in time. Every government org needs this is some way to document a decision that was made. So say 5 years ago based on the data we made decision X. If we open that dashboard in 5 years we would see new data that may show a completely diff story (if the dash or data even exists anymore). Often this comes up in court cases. If you had to defend it in court wouldn't you want a copy of what you were seeing at the time? Reports are an issue across all Esri products. I spend so much time coming up with hacks to just make a simple report for people. They cannot understand why it is so difficult. Govt is a huge part of Esri business so I am always shocked their concerns are not addressed. Some real world users need to be added to the Esri development teams to give them some context. They seem to have lost touch with the day to day world. Consider Survey123. Excellent product overall but users cannot understand how a Forms program cannot print.

My guess is you are trying to count itself? You need to count some other field. So Both fields are inside the repeat Field A - has some default or calculated value Field B - is the field you want the auto number to be in. Field B has the calc once(count(${Field A})) Try that.

The video spot you sent is about the Inbox. That is used to edit forms that were collected by other people. I do not think that is what you want as you have 2-3 different forms. You mention having one form with repeats in it I think. But I would not do it that way. Then you would have multiple people in multiple forms and repeats all possibly at the same time? Not really sure of your workflow. It can be done by basically taking your 2nd and 3rd form and wrapping it in a repeat in the main form. I liked using collector due to the spatial side. We need people to find the place first so it works out. Then I use collector to always pass the same Key to each form - which is how I keep them all connected. If you cant use Collector - You could fill out the key manually and hope or if the devices will have service you can open the map and launch the forms from a web map in the device browser just like on a computer. Either way here you would use a Relationship Class to hold it all together.
