I am using ArcGIS Pro 2.3.2 and find it very frustrating and time consuming to edit tables. My first issue is that I can not rely that my edits to the table will be saved. I often will make an edit to an attribute, click out of the field and the record will turn <NULL>. This will happen sometimes even after I press save. Second issues is that if I adjust the attribute width, the table will refresh. For example, if I am on record 800 and I adjust the attribute with, the table will reset back to record number 1....very frustrating and to the point that I switch back to ArcMap to make any table edits. Third issue with table edits is the auto-sort. Is there a way to stop sorting? If I make an edit to a field that I have a sort set to, the table automatically re-sorts and throws off my spot in the table. Forth and final issue...why does the table have to "Scan" while dragging the bar across a table to view off-window attributes...this makes it very difficult to make edits and look at tabular data. I don't mean to whine in this note, I really like using Pro and I am using Pro approx. 60% over ArcMap but that last 40% is mainly due to making table edits.

I just noticed this today, and I'm not sure if this is a result of the ArcPro 2.3 update or not, but I just noticed that there no longer is an "Apply" button in the display filters pane. Without the "Apply" button, the only way I could figure out how to get the filters to stick is to click on the "Clause" button. That seems to lock them in. But it would be nice if the "Apply" button was back so I didn't have to click the "Clause" button in every filter to get them to stick. As you can see in the pane below, there used to be an "Apply" button at the bottom of the pane (at least there was in ArcPro 2.2), but now there is not.

In ArcGIS Pro 2.2 I was able to drag feature classes directly into the python window but now with the upgrade to Pro 2.3 I can no longer drag feature classes into the python window. Has this functionality been removed with the upgrade to 2.3 or is there a bug with 2.3 that is causing this? pro 2.3 python command window

I know this is an old thread but this was very helpful. I found my tiling scheme file under C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS\Desktop10.5\TilingSchemes and added in the few lines of xml noted above. I am uploading UAV imagery to ArcGIS Online and kept running in the zoom issue until I found this...Thanks!

I have a question for a bird species common name. I want to populate the scientific name based on the common name. I have a choices table (image below). In my survey I have a question for common name which returns the spp_comm label. I want to have the spp_sci label returned in a subsequent question. I was able to use the choice filter which returns a single choice but I would rather return a value than have to click a single choice.

I only have a little bit of server experience but are you sure they are Feature Access enabled? If not, republish with Feature Access in order to edit.

Design mode cannot be accessed on the Windows Mobile device. You can go into design mode on the ArcPad for Windows (on the PC) and set up your project. Then the MyArcPad file needs to be transferred to the Mobile device.

I know this was posted a long time ago but....If anyone has this same problem, be sure the the Data Frame your feature classes are in is Active. I just spent 30 minutes trying to resolve the problem and realized I had the wrong data frame active.

Cannot create local copy for editing. When I select to open an ArcGIS Online feature service with ArcGIS for Desktop, my file opens correctly. When I choose to Edit Features/Create Local Copy for Editing I receive an error..."A local copy could not be created. The coordinates or measures are out of bounds." The file was webmercator when shared as feature survice and there is only one layer. I am using ArcGIS 10.3 at the standard level. UPDATE: I was trying to create the local copy based off of a scale of 1:200,000 and that appears to have been the problem. When I zoomed into a larger scale I was able to then create a local copy.

Domain drop downs will not carry over from a geodatabase to shapefiles. In order to keep the drop downs intact you need to use the "Check in/out" process or customize your forms in ArcPad Studio. The easiest way is to use the "Check in/out" process in ArcMap using the "ArcPad Data Manager" extension.
