Thanks for your input Vince. I will try ST_Point also to see the result. -AS It might be easier to use ST_PointN to fetch individual points inside PL/SQL (instead of text processing on a CLOB), which is why I asked what you were planning to do with them. - V

Vince, We are looking for all. Thanks -AS Polygons have at least 3 unique vertices and a centroid -- Which X,Y value are you trying to extract? Or do you want them all? And what are you planning to do with it/them once you have it/them? - V

Thanks Vince for correction, ORACLE 11g R2, ST_Geometry and Polygon feature class. Best Regards -AS You'll need to provide more information, including: The RDBMS you are using The geometry storage format The topology class of the features (point/line/polygon) Note that not everyone on this forum self-identifies as a "geek", so your greeting might be considered offensive to some. I suggest you stick to less charged terms when requesting help from folks. - V

It might be because the storage in 9.3 Geodatabase is Low Precision. Yes you are correct. The storage is low precision. What could be the workaround for this situation. -AS

try rebuilding/analyze the indexes for the layers the error complained about. Actually the tool works on 'SDE connection' file, not on particular layer/dataset. I tried both direct and advanced server connections. If you have 9.3 ArcSDE and 10.0 Desktop, you may try it and check whether it is working fine with you. -AS

either using Replication, or the simple (copy /paste) from ArcCatalog from one geodatabase instance to another. I cannot utilize replication as my data is of low precision, and other option 'copy' only copies feature class, without version and archiving. -AS

Please let me know the best practice for this.... Best Regards Abdullah Saleh

Good Day Gurus, We have a geodatabase A and B, we copied all the data of A to B few months ago. In other words A and B were similar few months ago. But, since then some datasets in A has been updated by users where as B remained same with no changes. Now my question is, i want to implement all changes made in some datasets from A to B, what is the best option to do so ? Thanks for you inputs With Regards -AS
