@AnninaRupe1  What is selected in the selection tree within the Reshape tool? Only a single feature? Is 'Allow reshaping without a selection' checked on at the bottom of the tool?  I see you answered that one 🙂 Is the layer being projected on the fly within the map? Are there curves involved? @m3 The next time this happens to you, please try the following: While the Trace construction tool is active, hold CTRL key, then while still holding CTRL key, press and release the SHIFT key, then release the CTRL key If that works, then I will have a clearer picture of the behavior, and my hope is that we can resolve it at a future release.   ... @AmyDunn Merge (Modify tool Edit tab) will create multipart polygons, even if they share a boundary when they have at least 1 Z value that doesn't match between them. The reasoning behind this was to prevent creating non-planar polygons, which are problematic for analysis. However, we are reconsidering this approach for a future release of the software.
