@ccowin_odfw Try this: Select an existing annotation feature that has the symbol you want. Open Manage Templates > New > click Template From Feature From the template properties dialog, you can modify the annotation's text if you want, give it a name, etc. > click OK When you go to use the new template, it may look like there's a problem with the template - giving a warning about a bad symbol attribute (I'm actually not sure why this is quite yet) - but the template should work to create new annotation features using the desired symbol.

@VanessaSimps Just going by the error, it could have something to do with the relationship class, which can have their own Split Policy. Look into how the relationship class is modeled and make sure the database user has the proper permissions to edit the table/feature class that is part of the relationship class. Since it's not happening on every split, is there a pattern? Example: A feature that is failing to split has a related record, and a feature that successfully splits does not have a related record? If you can't figure it out, please consider contacting Esri Technical Support for assistance.

@rlyding This should be fixed in the next release of ArcGIS Pro. Feel free to contact Esri Technical Support if you need to track it and to ensure your workflow/schema/etc. are captured properly in a bug report.

@EvanThoms ah I understand now. Sorry I don't have an answer for you. Perhaps your best bet would be to contact Esri Technical Support to report it and perhaps see if others have asked a similar question about it: https://support.esri.com/en-us/contact

Hi @MaryElliott This sounds like something the software can already do when using a Topology. Can you please clarify why the "Must Not Have Dangles" topology rule isn't the same as what you describe. See more information here: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/editing/geodatabase-topology-rules-for-polyline-features.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_D111AE311AFB4DE4ABA90BC12EE8C605

If I'm following, the 'Boundary Must Be Covered By' rule is telling you the polygon with OID 12 doesn't have a line covering the boundary of it. The specific line you want to cover it would be unknown to the software. One example of where DestClassID would be used is when there is a 'Must Not Overlap' rule and there are two known polygons that overlap.

...necessitating a time consuming single vertex deletion or a vertex deletion along with a vertex move... Thanks for the additional info. Regarding your statement on deleting and moving a vertex being time consuming: maybe you know this already, but if the sketch is still active, you can enter into vertex editing mode by hovering over a vertex (or segment) until the cursor changes from sketch mode to vertex editing mode, and then move the vertex where you wanted to place it, or right click to delete it from the context menu: Another FYI, this feature can be turned off from the editing toolbar: As for a reason why right-click isn't the default for finishing a sketch, I assume because the context menu has a lot of functionality while sketching. Perhaps turning off double-click to finish a sketch, and strictly using F2 or the toolbar (or map esri_editing_FinishSketch to another key using Accelerator) is an alternative solution to unwanted vertices.

The command, esri_editing_FinishSketch, is mapped to F2. You could map it to a different keyboard key using an Accelerator, but not to any mouse buttons. It also appears on the editing toolbar: Just curious, why are you needing to finish a sketch with the right mouse button?

@ColeSutton11 I set up the same accelerator for Reverse Direction on my end and I don't see a problem in ArcGIS Pro 3.1 I'm not sure what could be different about your system, but if you still need help on it, consider reaching out to Esri Technical Support https://support.esri.com/en/contact-tech-support

@JohnnyZiem One idea: Use the Replace Geometry tool and then use the Perpendicular command on the sketch context menu (while hovering over the line segment that you need to be perpendicular to). Or instead of using the perpendicular command, you can use Inference to create perpendicular lines: -Scott
