@KevinWyckoff1 the stretch proportionately toggle has been available in the toolbar since version 2.5. Are you not seeing it when using the Edit Vertices tool or sketching a line or polygon?

Hi @KevinWyckoff1 are you asking for a keyboard shortcut to this toggle? If so, you can do this by adding a custom keyboard shortcut (in 3.2) or an Accelerator in earlier releases This is what it would look like in 3.2: Now when I hit the S key, stretch proportionately toggles on and off.

@CordulaGöke Regarding what you're experiencing about moving a point being slow: I would definitely want to understand why. Please consider submitting a case with Esri Technical Support so they can help us understand where the performance issue is coming from. If they find something that is out of the ordinary, they can submit a bug to development.

@CordulaGöke Thank you for the suggestions. In ArcGIS Pro 3.2 there is a new experience for viewing and customizing keyboard shortcuts (you could still do most of this in older versions, but they were called "Accelerators"). To open the new keyboard shortcuts dialog, hit F12 on the keyboard or click this button on the Help ribbon: (another way is through the backstage options on the "Customize the Ribbon" page) This brings up this new dialog where you can see all of the out-of-the-box shortcuts, plus add your own. Editing has quite a lot - including one to open the Create Features pane (that you can customize, if needed): Once the Create Features pane is open, you can search for the desired feature template and activate it. Once you activate a template, the template's default tool becomes active (but the default tool can always be changed within the template properties, if needed) You can even have multiple templates that create the same type of features, but each with a different default tool 🙂 You can also add custom shortcuts to activate the different tool types. For example, if you want to add a shortcut for the Right Angle Line Tool, add it here: --- Regarding what you said here: An option would also be by default suggest the feature selected in TOC for editing. and as mentioned with the ribbon (and this applys to all parts of pro) keep the dialogs together. If I'm following, you can do this already by checking on the 'Contents Selection' filter within the Create Features pane: Here is a gif of how it works: With this checked on, now when you select a layer in Contents only the templates for that layer appear within Create. (If I misunderstood let me know) Thanks! Scott

@TimothyKnutson I would suggest reporting this to Esri Technical Support so a bug can be investigated/logged.

@Bud the suggestion I made about copying and pasting just geometry might be helpful to someone that stumbles upon it. Searching for GIS related keywords is funny like that 😉

@Bud Now that I've re-read your other posts, I don't think it's currently possible to create or modify a feature to get it into state 2 that you describe. I'll keep this open for others to vote/comment though.

@Bud I see red boxes on your shape fields - to me, that means attribute validation (maybe?) is preventing null geometry. Try unchecking this Editing option temporarily: If that doesn't work for you, I'll try it in Oracle and see what I see.

@Bud Will this work?: 1. Add a new row to the attribute table (this will have null geometry) 2. Editor Settings > Field Mapping > set Target and Source to the same layer (the one you want to transfer null geometry) 3. Match only the Shape fields > OK 4. Select the feature with geometry AND the feature without geometry (from the attribute table) 5. Open the Attributes pane. 6. Right click on the feature with null geometry > Copy Attributes 7. Right click on the feature with geometry > Paste Attributes > Apply

@EmilieRichard5 It looks like you are using the Streaming construction tool. Is that correct? It looks like this on the toolbar: If so, check the tolerance values for that tool by right clicking on the map (while the tool is active) > choose Streaming Options: ... and change the tolerance to a value that makes sense for your data:

@ShannonJ Regarding: I create 40 new water services in a subdivision, all of which have a unique address identifier that need to be copied to the water service box. I now need to copy and paste attributes 40 times effectively doubling the amount of clicks to do the same work Within the Attributes pane, you can paste attributes to multiple features (in the same layer) at once. I'm not sure if that applies to your situation, but it might be useful for other cases you run into. Note how I'm right clicking on the layer and not a specific feature within the attributes pane

@ShannonJ Just some information that might be helpful/relevant to your recent experience: 1. You can uncheck layers in List By Editing (within the Contents pane) and they won't be modified by Transfer Attributes - or any Modify tool for that matter. One tip about this, you can right click on a layer in this view and get to the "Make this the only editable layer" command (which is just a quick way to toggle only one layer as editable). 2. The Field Mapping for editing goes beyond the Transfer Attributes tool. It is used by the Copy Attributes and Paste Attributes commands in the Attributes pane, as well as the Copy Parallel and Mirror tools. 3. Finally, you may want to consider using the Copy Attributes and Paste Attributes commands in the Attributes pane (instead of Transfer Attributes) for greater control of which features you want to transfer attributes to/from, as you can select specific features in the map and see them within the Attributes pane before pasting attributes. Copy and paste attributes using the clipboard https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/editing/edit-feature-attributes.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_B3B0447CC9DC4E21A1D3691D46097256

@Leah_L Not yet, but still under consideration. Here is how you can generalize (simplify) a portion of a polygon. Add a new (temporary) line feature to the map. Create a new line using the trace tool that follows the polygon edge you want to modify. Enable Map Topology in the map. Select the new line with the generalize tool > Simplify method > set offset value > click Generalize. The portion of the polygon was generalized (as well as the polygons that share the edge) Now you can delete the temporary line. GIF:
