Hi Matt, The reference online parameter is for use when referencing the service layer by URL in the mobile scene package. This supports a specific hybrid workflow where you are not completely offline but still want access to some online hosted services such as the Terrain 3D. The tool does not currently support taking online services offline by extracting the online content. Based on the workflow you described you do not need to share the tpks as tile services so you can cut out that step. To get a completely offline scene you can run the tool with layers referencing the local content (tpkx). thanks, Andrew

Hi, You can do this by creating a new custom elevation surface and setting the rasters elevation mode to the custom surface. It will then render at 0 elevation below the ground. Steps: 1) Right click Elevation Surfaces > Add Elevation Surface Layer 2) Right click on raster > Elevation > Set features to On a custom elevation surface > Click OK Note: You may need to enable "Navigate Underground" On the Ground which you can do by clicking Ground > Click on Elevation Surface Layer contextual tab and enable navigate underground. thanks, Andrew

Some things that may be occurring.... It might be automatic view clipping which you can try changing to manual https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/mapping/properties/adjust-view-clipping-in-scenes.htm Another option is maybe the mesh is conflicting with the ground elevation source layer so you can uncheck that in the Contents pane to see if that's the problem. thanks, Andrew

Hi David, Unfortunately, I don't have any other updates as higher priority items have taken precedence. If anything changes i'll be sure to post here. thanks, Andrew

Hi, This is actually as-designed. When a raster gets reprojected the pixels themselves do not get the unit conversion applied. You can see this in the Project Raster tool as well. If a unit conversion needs to occur then reprojecting plus the times tool will take care of that. It is documented that appearance properties for elevation sources/surfaces do not get carried over to ArcGIS Online. In addition to the documentation it could be clearer that this is not occurring so I can reach out to the team in charge of that area and request that an analyzer be added so it's more clear. https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/sharing/overview/web-elevation-layer.htm https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/mapping/layer-properties/elevation-surfaces.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_4D49AF1FE4D746049E14C2A35E723428 thanks, Andrew

That's good to hear! From my testing, StdPressureLev was missing a required positive attribute so once I added that it drew. -Andrew

From what I can tell the data is in WGS84 so go ahead and place the projection file with that coordinate system next to the netCDF file and retry and let me know. thanks, Andrew

From what I can tell is the size of this is a lot smaller than the other dataset and when the dataset gets below 33 x 33 it doesn't render well in a 3D scene. I can have our dev debug but it may take some time to get back to you on this one. Longitude = 31; Latitude = 21; StdPressureLev = 5; thanks, Andrew

@zdgra I went ahead and took a look and the issue is that the data is irregular so when that's the case we cannot guarantee that it will draw. For these cases we have a python script that will regularize the values for you which you can find here https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/mapping/layer-properties/voxel-layer-freqently-asked-questions.htm#anchor16 I went ahead and ran the netCDF file through the script and have attached the output to this message. The data now displays in ArcGIS Pro. thanks, Andrew

Have you tried turning off the basemap and Terrain? It could be beneath the Ground. The other thing to try is to add it as a multidimensional raster to verify that it displays in 2D. thanks, Andrew
