I've spent some quality time with Pro identifying its deficiencies in the context of my personal workflows and ran across this. I took a layer of cities and tried to label the polygons using the name field which has the city name but stored as all caps ("LOS ANGELES", "SAN DIEGO", etc). No matter- I'll just add an Arcade expression and convert the labels to proper case on the fly: Proper($feature.NAME) Hmm. My labels are still all caps. This goes on for awhile. I tried different permutations of label expressions, VBScript vs Arcade, etc and I still could not get anything but upper case labels. I finally noticed that the Text Symbol Style I had selected was the Landform/Physical Region style, which shows an example of two letter As, both upper case. I changed my text symbol style to Landmark/POI and I finally get proper case labels. So- was this by design or a bug? I didn't see anything in the help documentation that Arcade (or any label expression) will not override properties of the selected Text Symbol Style. I'm using Pro v2.1.0 Thoughts? Steve

Hi Kelly, Yes- I was waiting for confirmation before updating the thread. I did contact customer service & they confirmed that this was an error. They did not, however, provide any explanation on how it may have happened. The credits were finally restored to my account today. Moral of the story- keep an eye on your credits like a hawk. Thanks, Steve

Sorry for the delay- your link is blocked by my work firewall. I looked at the shapefile and I think that's where the problem is. Your shapefile has a defined projection of Web Mercator, and I'm guessing Google Earth doesn't know what to do with that projection. In Arcmap, I gave my data frame a world geographic projection (WGS1984) and then exported your original shapefile using the data frame projection for the shapefile projection instead of its Web Mercator. I was then able to successfully import your shapefile into Google Earth Pro without issue. Hope that helps! Steve

I use the Trace tool to help save time when creating features in Arcmap but Trace isn't available if you're cutting a polygon. In that situation, I use the V shortcut to display vertices while defining my cut line. Sure- I vertex snapping will get me to snap at the valid locations but I feel like a blind person with a white stick. Using V allows me to know specifically where vertices I might want to snap to are located rather than running the cursor along a line waiting for the feedback to tell me when I've found a vertex. Often what I need to snap to might change layers & feature types so my drawing might follow a stream for a while, then cross over to a parcel boundary, then follow a CAD design feature. Holding down the V key shows all the vertices. It can't get any simpler than that.

That only works for the vertices of the layer you are editing / modifying. If you wanted to see vertices of other layers visible in the map, you need to do the convoluted process I described.

I have an organizational account through the ArcGIS Home Use program. At the 2017 UC, I found myself with a credit balance of zero. While still at the UC on 7/13/2017, I purchased an additional block of 1,000 credits. Fast forward to this past week. On Thursday (7/12/2018), I had somewhere in the neighborhood of 740 credits. On Saturday, I log into my account and see that my balance is now 93 credits. I've done nothing with my account in the intermediate days (no adding layers, using premium content, etc) so I'm at a loss to explain the drastic reduction in credits other than ESRI removed the remaining block of unused credits 1 year from their initial purchase. But that doesn't make sense either because on the ArcGIS website it states that additional credit bundles are good for 24 months. So are additional credit bundles purchased for a Home Use organizational account treated differently? (I haven't done it yet but I will be contacting customer service later today about this) P.S. Shoutout to this ArcGIS Idea about rollover credits.

Hillary, are you expecting only two features in the shapefile? I only ask that because sometimes the shapefile table can have a different number of records than the file with the feature representations and that can mess up the shapefile. Is is a shapefile you can ZIP up and share here to Geonet? Steve

Each record in the archive represents a version of World Imagery as it existed on the date it was published. This is a key point for users to understand. The imagery you see in any given location may not have actually been acquired on the date listed in the Wayback archive. I would think of this offering more like a versioned Imagery basemap.

I've implemented this for a personal project. Here's a web amp in AGOL that has a point feature of my 360 photo/video sites: Umpqua River Basin Old Growth Timber Sales Essentially the popup will provide you with a group list of photos or videos that are available for a given location. Some sites only have one photo so always try the link for photo 1 first. Anyways, the videos are hosted on Vimeo and the photos I am self-hosting. My point layer has 10 attribute fields that contain URLs to the 360 content (5 photos and 5 videos) which open in a new browser window. The videos are straightforward- just open the Vimeo link in a new browser window. The photos have been a little work but I think I have a solution I'm ok with. I'm using the Photo Sphere JS Viewer as the medium for displaying my photos. On my website, I have developed a bare bones HTML file "wrapper" that I pass a file name & description argument to it in the URL. The Javascript code parses that information out and then loads the 360 photo in the viewer. Sure, it would be great if the AGOL popups supported 360 natively but this hasn't been too bad. [The 360 photos/video were captured using a Garmin Virb 360] Steve
