You can get around ESRI's organizational account paywall by adding the imagery map service directly from the USDA. In your web map, select add layer from Web and then specify this URL: NAIP/USDA_CONUS_PRIME (ImageServer) I don't know if this affects what you're trying to do in that MOOC but give it a shot.

For context, what I originally wanted to do was animate a dataset I had of logging sale units over the course of 40 years. The dataset had about 14,000 polygons. I tried using the time enabled playback tools but the end result was garbage. The data would blink with significant pregnant pauses between intervals and not all data would display anyways. The data was symbolized simply as a solid fill color, too. This is why I went with the animated GIF option instead.

My advice would be to create a series of screenshot images and then make an animated GIF out of them. You can then use that GIF as an image in your story map.

There's also issues with security patches and vulnerabilities that have been identified and corrected in updates since 10.x. That's a factoid that tends to get IT departments to take interest.

Thanks, Katie. In my case, the numbers are the same so there's where my confusion came from. As luck would have it, I think I have resolved the issue, which appears to be a browser cache issue. I created a new map from scratch and web app from scratch using a browser which I don't typically use while working with AGOL and I was able to access the configuration screen. Thanks again. Steve

Yeah, I'm going to need help because it's not letting me open a ticket. I have a personal account & a organizational account (through the home use license) and I'm stuck in a circular loop of requesting permissions to open a ticket. Ugh.

The link in my original post is the AGOL page for the application. It's shared publicly so was that not accessible? Anyways, the direct link for the app is this.

I created a web mapping application (link here). When I click View Application, the web map app opens and everything seems ok. When I click Configure App while logged into my organizational account, it starts to open the config screen but the loading stops due to an error which is listed in the console: init.js:29 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'decimalFormat' of undefined It doesn't seem to matter which Web App template I use. They all choke on this error. This has been going on for about 5 days now. Anyone else experiencing this? Steve

Why are you not including any information regarding the pricing of these revamped user types? The AGOL website still points back to the current level 1/2 pricing tiers.

While I don't know the specific answer to your question, there was a recent thread about accessing OneDrive and ArcGIS Pro and one of the takeaways was that you likely had to create a new drive letter that pointed to the OneDrive location. So, to maximize compatibility, you and and your colleague may need to establish the same drive letter on your respective computers that points to the same OneDrive folder. And use the same version of ArcGIS Pro, of course..

I don't believe so. I ran into this with the very first thing I attempted to use ArcGIS Pro for- I wanted to replicate a photo taken from a helicopter and had the EXIF information about the camera's field of view from the photo. Like you said, it's easy to do in ArcGlobe/ArcScene but couldn't do it with Pro. Thus began my evergrowing list of "Thou can't.." functionalities with Pro.
