ArcGIS Pro enables "local search" when zoomed in to a local area.  By default I believe Web App Builder does not have this setting on.  You can enable it and suggestions and geocoding will function similar to how they work in Pro. The geocoding team is constantly adding features and looking for ways to improve the existing technology so newer versions of the software may function slightly different than previous versions.  The Pro 2.8 release will function very similar to its corresponding Enterprise release which is Enterprise 10.9. At this time locators created with the Create Locator tool support suggestions for subaddresses when the entire unit is entered.  Going forward we are looking into supporting suggestions for subaddresses when a partial subaddress is entered.  It may require the user to enter #, apt, unit, or some type of unit type prior to showing suggestions but the team is looking to support this in an upcoming release of Pro.   Brad ... By default the World Geocoding Service returns the Postal City name for addresses in the USA.  There is a way to change this by configuring a locator (view) on top of the World Geocoding Service and specifying that the preferred city should be the "Local City" or the "Matched City" and any results returned for that city will use one of those options instead of the "Postal City" where the data is available. The ArcGIS World Geocoding Service already provides results for many Addresses, Points of Interest and businesses all combined into a single service.  No need for an additional service with just Places.  If all you need is places, you can use category filtering to restrict geocoding to only the desired locations for your application.  This can be done with a Locator (view) or more fine grained with the REST API.   https://developers.arcgis.com/rest/geocode/api-reference/geocoding-category-filtering.htm   Brad ... Brian, At Pro 2.7 you now have the ability to adjust the side offset and end offset.   I would like to know more about the challenges that you have with spelling sensitivity with the new locators.  There isn't a need anymore to adjust the spelling sensitivity because we use a newer algorithm to do this which we have found produces very good results.  If there are cases where you are having challenges with this still, we would like to know about them so we can look at them but we don't have plans at this time to expose a property to adjust spelling sensitivity.   Brad ...
