Thanks Peter for all your help through email as we figured this one out! Just to update the thread for others who come across the same problem, here is what addressed the issue: Updating the OperationsDashboard.exe.config file with the following line: <defaultProxy enabled="true" useDefaultCredentials="true"/> Details: To find the OperationsDashboard.exe.config file, run Operations Dashboard, and while it is running open Task Manager. In Task Manager, find OperationsDashboard (if you are on Windows 7, you need to find it in the Processes tab; on Windows 8 you can use the applications tab), right-click on it, and select ??Open File Location.? When that folder opens, you will see an OperationsDashboard.exe.config file. Open it in a text editor. Add the line inside the <system.net> tag. This will leave you with the following section as part of your config file: <system.net> <defaultProxy enabled="true" useDefaultCredentials="true"/> ? etc ? This is something that will be in place by default with our next release.

Could you give me a bit more information about this? Is it crashing while you are authoring a view and adding the query widget? Or is it crashing while you are trying to use the query widget? Can you share the operation view where you are seeing the crash with me (ArcGIS.com user name kylie_org)? Thanks!

A great option for seeing what Operations Dashboard can do is to click "Try it now" from the sign in screen and use the sample operation views. There is a tutorial that steps you through trying it out: http://doc.arcgis.com/en/operations-dashboard/windows-desktop/user/monitor-and-respond-to-events.htm

I just tried, and I am able to successfully save an operation view when connected to an ArcGIS Online organization as an admin. When you say the app appears to successfully save the operation view, are you seeing the name at the top of the window? When you say you aren't seeing it in your account, are you looking for it using Operations Dashboard, or on the website for your organization? If it is easier to email me screen shots showing what you see, please feel free to do so and I will take a look: kdonia@esri.com

If you have a layer with only a single feature in it, set that to be the data source for the gauge, and the gauge will always reflect that data.

Hi Pete -- You can have the gauge work with the selected feature on the map. When configuring the map, make sure you check the "Selectable" check box for the layer. Then when you configure the gauge, you will see an option for the layer's selection in the Data Source drop-down list. Choose the layer's selection for your data source, and the gauge will reflect the data for the selected feature on the map.

Hi! Are you connected to ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS? What is your role (user, publisher, admin) in your ArcGIS organization? I'd like to be able to repro this here to investigate it for you.

Could you email me (kdonia@esri.com) details of how you are able to repeat the crash, as well as (if possible) give me access to the services so I can repro it here? I haven't seen this. Thanks!

It does appear to be tied to your machine. It opened and drew the map just fine for me. Could you share some info about your operating system and machine? Any idea how it differs from that of your coworker who was able to see the map?

Hi Carrie -- For details on adding location tracking in your map, please see Track where collectors went. Let me know if you have questions that aren't covered there. For the data entry form, that comes from the popup that is part of your map. See Configuring pop-up windows for details on customizing them as you author your map. Hope this helps, Kylie

Chad -- Are you using the arcgis-collect:// link, or the http:// link? Not all email apps support the arcgis-collect schema links.
