Got it. I'll make a note of the request, but don't have anything like that right now.

Hi Katy -- Did you see the tutorial in the Collector documentation? Collect data—Collector for ArcGIS | ArcGIS Is there something missing from that which you wanted to highlight for your users?

Hi Sarah -- The hardware button some Android phones have is a dedicated button that is part of the phone, not part of the app. If you are seeing "Refresh" on your Android at the top of the menu (which is where "sign out" is on iPhone) then I believe you are in the right menu. If you are logged in on the Android, you should see "Switch Account" lower in that same menu. This will get you to the steps from an earlier comment: "If you already installed and logged in to the app, you can access the trial functionality by clicking Switch Account in the Map Gallery Overflow menu, then canceling with the device's back button to return to the initial screen for the app."

When you are streaming, vertices are being captured based on a time and distance interval (taking into account how far you have moved, and how long since a vertex has been captured). This will create a polygon, but it should be creating one that matches the boundary of where you are walking. Could you show me a screen shot of what you are seeing in Collector? If you aren't getting as many vertices as you'd like, you can adjust the streaming interval in the settings. This will cause vertices to get added more often. I believe the default is every 5 seconds, but you can make it every second.

There are a couple ways to set layer filters... from what you've said, I think you are using the Layer Filter tool on the toolbar, right? That tool is for users to customize what they see, and it doesn't save a particular setting as part of the operation view. There are a couple other ways to set filters depending on what you are trying to accomplish using them, and some are saved as part of the map or operation view. You can see some details in Configure a map widget—Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS | ArcGIS

Hi Chris -- There are not plans to support the multidisplay operation view in the browser as you know it today. However, we do have plans to enhance the layouts that are supported. Are you hoping to actually use multiple windows, or just layout the widgets in a different structure?

When I go to the map you linked, and I view the item details for it (http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=88c56c0851ff48069de8cc95736a0723 -- under About you can click "more details" to get there) I can see that your Public Input layer is definitely a map service, and not a feature service: Perhaps you did create a feature service as well, but didn't add that to the map? You need to make sure the feature service, and not the map service, is what gets added to your map.

No, you don't have to. From Take maps offline—Collector for ArcGIS | ArcGIS the data requirement is that "All feature layers in the map are sync-enabled. These can be hosted feature layers or ArcGIS 10.2.2 Server or later feature services. " You then also need a supported base map.
