I'm also getting the same error, with Portal, trying to add an external, 'unsecure' webservice. Portal seems to be confused with requiring a password to exit our forward proxy. GET /arcgis/sharing/checkUrl.jsp?url=http%3A//maps.six.nsw.gov.au/arcgis/rest/services/public/NSW_Imagery/MapServer%3Ff%3Djson&f=json HTTP/1.1 JSON httpResponse= httpStatusCode=407 httpStatusMessage=HTTP/1.1 407 Proxy Authentication Required secured=True url=http://maps.six.nsw.gov.au/arcgis/rest/services/public/NSW_Imagery/MapServer?f=json If I supply my proxy credentials the request still fails. Any ideas?

More of a workaround that a fix I now have some users with the same error on iOS devices We are using Portal. Downloads works with Android devices. Services are items, though I don't get the option to imbed login details.

Maybe not a very helpful suggestion and have you looked at the Portal / Server / IIS logs?

A workaround for 2. is to take the map offline and sync when ready.

Just to add to the chorus of yes that there seems to be a conserted effort by "ESRI" to push an AGO solution as opposed to Portal. This seems to have recently reduced slightly, perhaps as ESRI sees people using Portal differently to what they expected. The named user pricing model is crazy and likely to hamper "licensed" application of what is a great tool.

I still am unclear what isn't being accessed. You have an image service? Other REST endpoints return correctly? You are viewing via a browser or ArcMap? That aside, there is nothing special to setup F5 for ArcServer. Treat the same as any other https servers you have running. Access Policy Manager is a F5 module.

Can you please be a bit more specific ... what images can't you see? Are you using a web adaptor? What errors do you see in Fiddler? Are you using APM?

Once you have the data back in your office, ignore how it was collected, and process the data the same way as you do now. I have a horrible feeling I have missed your point 😕

You could also have the street name service editable and then disallow editing of that service in the Collector map. Just depends what works best for you.

G'day All Is this error from IIS or from Collector? Either way, how do I fix? The error occurs when trying to download hundreds of megs maps. Downloading works for tens of megs. Thanks
