I'm having the exact same issue as you were - same tool, same error, same Pro version. Just to be sure - did you completely uninstall and reinstall Pro or did you just run a repair on the software?

Try adding a folder to your project and you still have to drill down to find it the first time. Recent places link would make that much easier! The Folders connection in your Project has always been part of Pro, it's not new with 2.0. It doesn't solve the same issue I am addressing with this idea so please remove the down vote on this post.

Thanks. My script is trying to use the exportToPNG so this would make sense. I'm using the same system environment as you, except that I've tried with both Pro 2.0 Named User (Basic) and Concurrent (Advanced) licensing to no avail.

Hi Matthew, This script works for me also; but it doesn't have to open/call an ArcPro project, right? Maybe that has something to do with it?

Hi Adam... when I choose "run whether user is logged on or not" I still get a blank file. It's weird, because the file does get updated at the time the task is scheduled (so the task is running) but it's just blank. When I choose "Run only when user is logged on", I get the appropriate text in the text file and everything works as it should.

Mike/Rhett -- thanks, but I can schedule other tasks (ones that use ArcMap/Python 2.7) with absolutely no problem using the exact same settings and service account, and I have no in memory layers either.

When adding data or an item into Pro, there needs to be a way to quickly access "Recent Places" like you can in ArcMap or Windows Explorer and many other applications (MS Office, etc). Every time I need to find an item on my computer/network via Pro I have to drill down through all of my network drives/folders even though in ArcMap/Windows Explorer I can just hit the "Quick Access" button (formerly Recent Places but renamed in Windows 10). It seems strange that Pro doesn't offer this same option aside from opening a Recent Project when you first open the program.

Hi Thomas -- yes, the service account has Full Control over all folders involved and is not blocked from Execute Batch Job.

Yep you summarized everything correctly, though it seems I can't get any Python 3 script using Pro to work (not just exporting but even simple GP tool scripts) when I check the option to run whether I'm logged on or not. Still hoping for a way to get it to work - right now I'm in the same spot as you.

Hi Kevin -- I tested this script this morning. When I scheduled and ran the task, the output file was updated but it only says "this is before arcpy".
