I think you have two choices - UTC or the database's timezone. UTC is the default. At the time of enabling editor tracking, if you're using the Enable Editor Tracking tool, you can choose between the two. I would imagine that if you enable this within the ArcGIS Online interface then it will pick UTC.

Hi Scott - I think it's the logging out that's stopping you here. If you take a map offline, stay logged in and kill your connection / turn on airplane mode / etc. then you should be able to use your offline map. I'd guess that Collector won't function unless you're logged in as someone - and to login you'll need a data connection.

We've tried a few Android tablets that take 4G sim cards.. Samsung Galaxy Tab Active - waterproof and fairly rugged, Collector forced in to portrait mode (so we can't use it), good size to hold in a hand. Nexus 9 - nice specs but unreliable and not rugged (feels flimsy), Collector forced in to landscape mode, size is OK. Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8" - nice specs, not rugged but feels much more solid than the Nexus, Collector forced in to landscape mode, good portable size. .. the S2 is our current choice.

The only way I've seen to influence this is by changing the basemap in Collector to one using a different coordinate system - we use a basemap in British National Grid and Collector returns coordinates as X / Y pairs when using this basemap.

Snapping is not supported, the document above is still a pretty good representation of Collector.

Worth noting that Collector will not use any SD card in your device and that it will not support screen rotation on Android. Pick something with enough internal storage and that will run Collector in your chosen orientation - not doing this can be costly!

Esri know that it works, but I imagine they are very wary of saying that too loudly. Hopefully the real implementation of labelling, if it comes, will just replace the unofficial version with an update. The problem would come for Esri if they had documented the way labelling currently works and then had to remove it from Collector without a replacement implementation. Not saying this would happen, but it seems Esri are playing this one cautiously. You could maybe disable your scripts and use offline labelling, then you've always got your scripts as a backup?

Have you signed in (File - Sign In...) to ArcGIS Online within ArcMap? If so, it may be that you need to have an organisational account and not a personal one to publish services to AGOL. I have seen posts previously suggest that ArcGIS for Home Use doesn't give you an organisational account by default, so you may need to contact Esri.

The simplest way is to export your hosted feature class in AGOL to a CSV, then download that from AGOL and open it in Excel. You could then do some processing in Excel - or if you want to get fancier, you could have Desktop scripts that read through the feature classes that Collector writes to and pull information out in to validated, formatted spreadsheet output. This was our method for dealing with data generated by 15 full-time Collector field workers - we had to automate some of the process or we couldn't keep up with our collectors! Survey123 does have much nicer forms than Collector, but I find Collector better in most other ways. I also think Survey is a bit ugly - whoever designed the upcoming Workforce for ArcGIS interface was definitely a different person to the one who designed Survey (apologies to anyone involved reading this!). This sort of mirrors my experience across the Esri suite of products - they're not too consistent.

A long press on the map will also show you coordinates and the address of where you pressed, based on the basemap you're using.

Our users would love this too - they currently take a screenshot of Collector and open it in another app to edit the image, then store those images on their device and refer to them when they go back to a job.

Generally we go through Esri UK support for less urgent stuff - I guess it depends on what sort of customer you are, etc. as I imagine there's a load of different ways in.

This is something introduced with a recent update, as far as I can tell. We have to close Collector completely and reopen it to get the map to show in the Manage screen. We've reported it to Esri but the more people who do the better!

You can tell Collector to not use your device's location services or you can just turn them off on the device and Collector will let you place everything manually. All our features are located manually this way - we tend to use location services to just get us to roughly the right point on the map.

You could try ArcGIS Pro if you have a 64-bit machine, it looks to have that tool.
