It used to be that with an image-type question, appearance set to annotate, and body::esri:style set to method=camera, browse users could exercise 3 different options in the same image question: Take a photo with the camera Browse for a photo Hand-draw a sketch on a blank canvas This configuration doesn't seem to work anymore...all I can get is options 1 and 2. If I change appearance to draw, and keep the body::esri:style set to method=camera, browse, I can get the hand sketch, but I loose the camera and browse options. Is there a way I can restore the 3-way functionality to a single image question?

Field users capture a point, line, or polygon feature as part of a site visit. But, if they re-open a site visit survey for edit from the Outbox, the geometry feature is not present. See the images below for an illustration of the situation. The OriginalDataEntry.jpg image illustrates the situation just before the user submits the site visit to the Outbox. In this example, a line feature has been captured. The EditFromOutbox.jpg image illustrates that the line feature is missing when that survey is re-opened for edit from the Outbox. Why aren't the geometries persisting when a submitted survey is opened for edit from the Outbox?? I'm using Version 3.14.242, and the geometries are captured as repeats nested within another repeat. The geometry widgets are exposed when users select a shape type in a prior question. begin repeat begin group . . . end group begin repeat geopoint end repeat begin repeat geotrace end repeat begin repeat geoshape end repeat . . . end repeat

OK, thanks. Changing the begin repeat appearance to w1 field-list restored order to the universe.

I have a survey that used to look like the Before_Good image (below), but now looks like the After_Bad image (below) on both Apple and Android devices...all of the repeat groups are scrunched up on the left side of the form. I've made no changes at all to the survey itself, but did just upgrade to version 3.13.244 on Android and 3.13.246 on Apple. Is anyone else experiencing this behavior with a version upgrade, or is it just me?

I have a zero-padded coded value domain in a Survey that has been working as expected in a select_one FOREST question until just recently, when the survey started dropping the leading zero from the coded value. See CodedValueDomain.png below to see the FOREST list, and see Result.png below to see the recent change in output result. The Admin_Region field in Result.png is being hard-wired to "03", so its result has not changed. The Excel cells are formatted at text, and I've set bind::esri:fieldType as esriFieldTypeString. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you...

I am having the same question as StefanHaglund1. My calculation expression (shown below) does not open the referenced PDF file on an Android device. The path to the PDF file is correct, as it matches the path displayed for the PDF file by my Android file manager (see the attached image). And, like Stefan, if I substitute a Windows PC path, it does work as expected when using the survey on a Windows PC. Am I referencing the Android file system incorrectly? concat('<a href="file:///Internal storage/Android/data/com.esri.survey123/files/ArcGIS/My Surveys/eb5b134a5e784a7ea908e03de3b57501/esriinfo/media/WruGuide.pdf" class="link external button button-raised button-fill color-blue">Guidance Doc</a>')

Thanks for the follow-up. It is a Galaxy Tab A (2018, 10.5), model SM-T590, Android version 10. As a last resort, I un-installed the Survey123 app and then re-installed it, and all items are now appearing normally. So, problem solved, crisis averted! Should have tried that approach sooner, I guess...

My Samsung Galaxy Tab A recently upgraded to Survey123 version 3.11.164, and it seems to have changed the color scheme when I am logged in to ArcGIS Online such that I can no longer read the text that appears in the Sent and Outbox headings and lists. For instance, in the attached OutBox_NotSignedIn.png image, I can read the full text (survey name and modified date) in the Outbox list when I am not signed in. When I am signed in to ArcGIS Online, however, I cannot read all of the text that appears in the Out or Sent box lists, or how many records are in the out or sent box, as illustrated in the 2 other attached images. The text is there, as I can see it momentarily when I touch the list item. I don't recall encountering this situation prior to 3.11.164.

Hi Danielle. Yes, but... Two of the three feature classes in my "Local fGDB Copy For Editing" do retain the association between their fields and their corresponding domains. Only one of the feature classes in the local replica loses the association between the fields and their domains. In any case, I worked around the issue by cloning the schema of the feature service parent geodatabase into another local geodatabase, appending feature service records into the local geodatabase, making my edits, appending the edited records back to the "Local fGDB Copy For Editing", and syncing back to AGOL using the right-click Edit Features - Synchronize Local Edits With Server functionality. Clunky, but it worked, and I don't have access to ArcGIS Pro, so it will have to do. Thanks...

I'm experiencing a similar problem. I have a hosted AGOL feature service consisting of point, line, and polygon layers. The domains work fine when I'm creating or editing features in both the AGOL webmap and in Collector. However, when I bring the feature service into ArcMap and save a copy for editing, the domains for the point feature class disappear after the first edit session. In other words, when I initially bring the hosted feature service into ArcMap and save a copy for editing, I am able to edit with the benefit of domains in all of the feature classes. However, if I save my edits (not syncing with the feature service), close out of ArcMap, restart ArcMap and start a new edit session on the same MXD, the domains have disappeared from the point feature class. The domains for the line and polygon feature class are still in place. The feature classes are identical to each other in all respects except for their geometry type. Please help me understand what's going on with that. Thank you.
