Hi Rama, You got all permission right once you followed Asrujit's suggestion. In Arcatalog, you can use filter to get feature class and it's locks. If you can not see, then close Arccatalog and reopen to try again. Sometimes, Arcatalog cache it out and you may not see update information on the same session. If you still have issue, then log a tech support call. Thanks, Biraja

Is there any hung or orphan processes in sqlserver. Or is there any process is blocked processes. If it is possible, then restart sqlserver service and try copy again. Otherwise log a case with Esri Support. Thanks, Biraja

One more to check is whether you saved user name and password in .sde file or database connection file. Thanks, Biraja

Are you able to create a new feature class or tables in target enterprise geodatabase using Arccatalog. Please check the data creator Privileges for geodatabases in SQL Server—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop Required privileges: CREATE TABLE CREATE PROCEDURE CREATE VIEW Also check the following for data creator login: Users who create data must have a default schema with the same name as their database user name. For example, for the user name simon, the default schema name must be simon. If it isn't, the user cannot create objects such as feature classes. Thanks, Biraja

Feature layer in ArcMAP has more info to consider boundary extend, symbology etc in the copy process. If you do not want specific feature to copy, then better method is to use Arccatalog and copy file geodatabase/feature dataset/feature class. Just curious to know, why you need to copy feature layer one at a time from ArcMAP. Thanks, Biraja

In addition to George suggestion, you can use the following syntax to resynch: exec sp_change_users_login 'Auto_fix','gissrvadm', NULL, 'gissrvadm' Thanks, Biraja

Hi Jane, As you mentioned, you have small data ( I assume it will be around 1 to 2GB or less), you can use sqlserver express as personal geodatabase to store both spatial and non-spatial data and join. Editing sqlserver non-spatial data is easy and if your colleague knows how to modify data in MS-Access then he will figure out how to do it on sqlserver. For your field analyst, you can make a checkout replica as file geodatabase if required and edit. Thanks, Biraja

Hi Jeff, As far my knowledge goes, Arccatalog does not have option to add privileges insert and update only without delete. All 3 selected at the same time. The reason being, in versioning editing environment, when you update any feature, there will be a delete first and record inserted in D table and then add feature with updated information and inserted row in A table of that feature class. Thanks, Biraja
