Thanks. I see you are using proxy. It seems that TLS update is causing some issue with proxy for ArCGIS Online access. Please contact Support Service to analyze and may be this is a defect. Biraja

This is the proxy settings in the application and we need to set the 2 mentioned parameter for secure layers to access it. You mentioned that you removed these 2 lines from application and able to fix the issue. This implies that you do not need proxy to access those web maps or layers from ArcGIS Online. { "urlPrefix": "https://<arcgis_online_organization_name>.maps.arcgis.com/sharing/rest", "proxyUrl": "https://<server_domain.org/DotNetProxy112/proxy.ashx" }, Do you have any other "urlPrefix" and "proxyUrl" present after removing above 2 lines in config.json. If not, then you are not using proxy. Thanks, Biraja

Hi Abdullah, If your surveyors or data editors can edit data directly from feature service, that will be a better option for you as you have less data changes happening in a given week. Thanks, Biraja

Hi Alanood, Are you using "offline editing" capabilities of Feature access service. If not, then this will be recommended option for your workflow. You mentioned that you are using application to update data. Is this application created using java script API or ArcGIS Runtime or how this application created. Please clarify. Other option may be to coordinate between editors so that while saving changes nobody should overlap with other which means at a given time, only one editor is saving the data changes. Thanks, Biraja

As far as I know, if TLS update affecting proxy, then we followed the below steps to fix the issue in general: 1. Download current version of resource proxy from Github as per below link: https://github.com/Esri/resource-proxy 2. In IIS while converting the proxy folder to application, use .net 4.5 as application pool. Hope that helps. Otherwise, please contact Esri Support Services to diagnose the issue further. Thanks, Biraja

This is a known issue and defect number is #BUG-000114598. It states that "RuntimeError "workspace already in transaction mode" occurs when using da.UpdateCursor on TableView after changing the version." Workaround steps are provided below: 1. Change the connection file to point to the desired version. 2. Use the CreateDatabaseConnection_management tool to generate a temporary connection file pointing to the desired version. Delete when the script finishes. 3. Use a config file to store the arguments for the CreateDatabaseConnection tool to keep the username and password out of the script.(optional) This is a code snippet used in another user case with similar situation: At the beginning of your script: temp = r"C:\Temp" file = "SDEConn" arcpy.CreateArcSDEConnectionFile_management(temp, file, <Fill In The Rest With Your RBDMS Parameters>) workspace = os.path.join(temp, file +".sde") # Set the workspace environment env.workspace = workspace At the end of your script: arcpy.Delete(workspace) Hope that helps. Hi Alanood, This is an expected behavior and by design. When any editor starts editing in Default version, application creates a temporary child version of it with same state_id of Default version. When editor saves, that temporary child version does an implicit reconcile and post to Default version and Default version moved or point to new state_id. Now Default version state_id is changed. As per your workflow, you have 25 concurrent users are editing "Default" version. Hence you find that state of the Default version is different for editors as Default is modified from saving updates from another editor and observed the below warning message: "The version has been redefined to reference a new database state" You can bypass this warning message by enabling autoreconciliation on the ArcMap Options dialog box. Here are the web helps to explain "Editing Default version workflow" better: 1. http://help.arcgis.com/en/geodatabase/10.0/sdk/arcsde/concepts/versioning/editingworkflows/direct.htm 2. http://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/10.3/manage-data/geodatabases/version-scenarios.htm The below content copied from 2nd web help link: Concurrent editing of the published database Many users can edit the same version simultaneously, so the simplest way to support multiuser editing is for many editors to directly edit the DEFAULT version. As each editor starts editing the DEFAULT version, an unnamed, temporary version is automatically created in the edit session. This temporary version is accessible only to the current editor. When the editor saves his or her work or ends the edit session, the changes recorded in the temporary version are posted to the DEFAULT version. If another user has edited the DEFAULT version since you've started editing, when you save your work, ArcGIS automatically reconciles and posts the changes. You are notified that the version has been changed and must save again to accept the changes made by other editors. You can bypass this warning message by enabling autoreconciliation on the ArcMap Options dialog box. Whether or not you bypass this message, if there are conflicts, you must resolve them with the conflict resolution dialog box before you can successfully save your edits. Thanks, Biraja

Hi Marc, Have you checked or verified data using "Check geometry" geoprocessing tool just to make sure data is good before importing. Check for any custom triggers and locks on the table which may cause this error. Other option apart from copy/paste is to create an empty schema enterprise geodatabase and append data. If you still find the issue then open the SQL Server profiler and check the error or last activity when import failed. Thanks, Biraja

Hi Abdullah, Please provide details workflow you are following currently to edit data or capture data and your holistic requirement of data access. Geodatabase sync will not provide real time update. Updates or changes are migrated during synchronization and you may need to synchronize every seconds using a script which does not seem to be an option. Feature service or map service fetch data from geodatabase while previewing data and you can get real time data here. But it depends on where and how data is updated. If it is updated on geodatabase then service access changes from geodatabases. Thanks, Biraja

What is the issue. Do you get any error during connection. Can you provide the workflow followed to import excel table to SQL server. Does this table has geometry or x and Y coordinates information. Is this SQL Server geodatabase enabled. Are you connecting from ArcGIS Desktop or ArcGIS Pro or from SQL server client. If you delete the imported table, can you connect or if you re-import the same excel table to SQL server helps resolving issue. Thanks, Biraja
