I would like to allow my users to delete values that are in a date field using the Edit Widget. Maybe some sort of combo box would work, where it's a text-box and a calendar popup? Or is it possible to add another button next to the calendar image that clears the date value? Has anyone done this already? Thanks~

I would like to use a secured service on the Citizen Service Request (ArcGIS 10.1). Has anyone configured this template with a secured service yet? If so, what steps did you take? I've created a token using the http referrer value of the server page and I've added the token to the config.js file but I'm still getting Error: Unable to draw graphic (geometry:null, symbol:null): Invalid Token.

type: esriFieldTypeString I should mention that I had a tax parcel viewer 10.0 up and running with my 10.0 mapservices which worked great. I am currently trying to upgrade my services to 10.1 and have been noticing all my 10.1 services that have a join with an attribute table come out with the fully qualified field names. I didn't have this issue with 10.0. This leads me to think that I need to make a change in the tax parcel viewer to allow it to use fully qualified field names.

Hi, I'm having trouble with my mapservice query on the Tax Parcel Viewer. I've tested this on all three versions 10.0, 10.1, & 10.2 and all version don't work with this mapservice. My mapservice (10.1) that I use to query the parcels is my parcels layer joined on an attribute table so my field names look like this- Owner.dbo.CamaGov.PARCEL_ADDRESS. Every time I query a parcel I get this error- TypeError: _10(...) is undefined Has anyone had this problem with fully qualified field names using the tax parcel viewer? What do I need to change to allow this to work? Thanks

ionara_wilson, Are you looking to see how I reconfigured the JavaScript template - Citizen Service Request to allow the user to create a new record in the related table? If so, I can try and give you some more information. But like I said earlier, unfortunately I wasn't able to do this with the flex template. I really wish there was a flex viewer widget that allowed to you edit related data.

Is there anything else you did? I have the same configuration settings as you and I still get prompted for a user name and password every time I open and close the flex viewer 3.3. Did you create any tokens?

When the service request details view gets populated, one of my date fields says Dec 31, 1969. This field is null and should display N/A not Dec 31, 1969. In the function ServiceRequestDetails(attributes) I can see where the date is declared but I think it needs a if/then statement in case the field is null like in my case. I've tried a few different ways but can't seem to fix this. This is what I came up with; is there something I need to change or is there another place in the utils.js I should put this instead of inside the ServiceRequestDetails(attributes) function? for (var index in infoWindowData) { if (!infoWindowData[index].AttributeValue.ActualReInspectionDate == '') { infoWindowData[index].AttributeValue.ActualReInspectionDate == showNullValueAs; } else{ var date = new js.date(); }

Craig, No I wasn't able to add an additional relate entry with this flex sample, sorry. Instead I used the Javascript API sample- Citizen Service Request. I was able to change this sample to just allow the user to create a new record in the related table. Liz
