Barnaby, Are you aware of any RegEx scripts that have been developed to migrate the Flex eSearch setups to the new WAB eSearch? Thanks, Andrew

Robert, Is it possible to add a summary function for certain fields to the search results similar to your Flex Advanced Search widget? I looked through the help guide but didn't see anything. There is the Summary widget in WAB but this requires feature services and the user to open a separate widget. Thanks, Andrew

Can somebody point me in the direction of changing the pop-up title color for a particular theme and color? I hijacked the blue style for the Foldable theme and changed it to a lighter blue for the header background but can't find where to change the title color for the pop-up. I changed the header color in the file location below. themes\FoldableTheme\styles\blue Note the difference in colors between the header in the top part of the image and the different pop-up title color below. Thanks, Andrew

The issue was that I had set my desktop's text size to be "Larger" and that was reducing the pixels for my browser sessions. Once I changed the Display setting back to Medium, the pop-ups were appearing as expected.

I'm using WAB v1.2 and when I create a WAB app, it seems that all the pop-ups are using the mobile pop-up formatting. See attached images. vs. It was functioning as expected with the typical AGO pop-ups initially but whenever I now go an create a new WAB app, it uses the mobile pop-up setting on desktop browsers too! Anybody know why this might be occurring and/or the solution? Thanks, Andrew

Another option that applies to WAB Developer Edition and doesn't require you to share your AGO web map with the public is to add some entries to the proxy file used in your app. See an example proxy config below ------------------------------------------------------------- <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <ProxyConfig allowedReferers="*" mustMatch="true"> <serverUrls> <serverUrl url="http://YourOrg.maps.arcgis.com/" matchAll="true" clientId="XYZ" clientSecret="ABC" oauth2Endpoint="http://YourOrg.maps.arcgis.com/sharing/oauth2/"/> <serverUrl url="https://YourOrg.maps.arcgis.com/" matchAll="true" clientId="XYZ" clientSecret="ABC" oauth2Endpoint="https://YourOrg.maps.arcgis.com/sharing/oauth2/"/> </serverUrls> </ProxyConfig> <!-- See https://github.com/Esri/resource-proxy for more information --> ----------------------------------------------------------- You can find the clientid and clientSecret in the details of your registered WAB app. Then update your config.json in your WAB with the following proxy rules {"urlPrefix": "https://YourOrg.maps.arcgis.com/", "proxyUrl": "https://YourServer/proxy.ashx"} You'll still need an AGO account but this allows for a web map and app to be created and not shared with the public. Is there a way to change the name of the Search Results layer in the print output legend? For example, in the attached image, the legend item in the print output is "graphicsLayer3". Users might find it more helpful if the layer were named something like "Search Results - Layer Name". Should this question be posted outside of the eSearch widget thread? Thanks, Andrew

Hi Robert, I am using version 1.1.8 and am getting mixed results when performing a search and having the Search Results populate in the Attribute Table. Sometimes the Attribute Table widget will get populated with results and other times the Attribute Table will just be blank. I've tested this on IE, FF, and Chrome as well as had other staff test on their machines with the same app. We are all experiencing the same mixed results. I can get the Search Results to successfully populate the Attribute Table each time IF I first open the Attribute Table widget THEN execute the search. The app is secured but, if possible, I could send you a link and credentials. Thanks, Andrew

I spoke with ESRI staff and was told the following... "web services that do not have a well known ID (WKID) will typically not function properly within Esri applications. This is a known limitation." Options were 1) Reprojecting the data to another projection containing a WKID. 2) Create a WKID for your custom projection. Thanks for the help and suggestions, Andrew

Robert, After additional review, it doesn't appear to be an issue with the eSearch widget. Rather, it appears to be an issue with the Attribute Table widget and using a basemap with a custom coordinate system that doesn't have a WKID. I'm going to get a hold of ESRI to verify. Thanks, Andrew
