Chelsey, closing the thread would help others find a solution, if the help did indeed resolve your issue

Help topic The output graph is an in-memory graph that can be added to the host ArcGIS application or can be saved using the Save Graph tool. Make Graph can be used on a Windows platform only. I don't know if you have to add it manually or do you have the default Arcmap setting of Add Results to Display checked on, or whether you have to go to Save Graph...You are in a better position to experiment addendum see this help topic as well

One solution, but probably not the most elegant, would be to merge each company's rigs and wells into one file, then create your symbology and save as a layer file

if blahblah and *.tif were consistent, then you could easily parse that data off using python etc. If this is a one-off event, and the number of files is relatively small, then spending time programming a solution wouldn't be worth the effort. Addendum You might want to use the convention of creating filenames that may contain pertinent information so that they can be parsed...for example blahblah_June2014.tif (python example in verbose form and totally untested since I haven't got python on this friggin' iPad toy) >>> a = "blahblah_June2014.tif" >>> b = a.replace(".tif", "") >>> c = b.split("_")[-1]

unfortunately not, a space isn't the same as null. Also see the help file on using code blocks ArcGIS Help (10.2, 10.2.1, and 10.2.2)
