Iris, So you don't see the "Perform Analysis" option on the context menu of the layer in the map viewer? Did you publish the layer as features? You can't do analysis on Tiled layers, as there are no features to analyze. Thanks, Mike

Cris, Are you trying to republish an ArcGIS Online basemap? You can't do that. If you have your own data, you can publish it as a service, then use that service as the basemap layer in a web map instead of the ArcGIS Online basemaps. thanks, Mike

1. Yes. They will become full members of the organization. Joining an organization allows the admin of the organization to have full control over the member's content. Thus, if the person wants to maintain personal content, they shouldn't join with their public account. Also, if they want to leave the organization, their account username is deleted. 2. No. Organizational accounts can't join groups owned by Public accounts and vice versa. 3. No. Public accounts can't join organizational groups. They can, however, see organizational groups that are public and where all content in the group is shared publicly. thanks, Mike

If your web map is referencing a large number of features in a feature layer (service) that could be causing problems as well. If you can share your map to everyone and post the URL here, I could look at it. Thanks, Mike

There have been updates, but nothing that would change access to items. Is your account part of an organization? The admin of the organization may have restricted Anonymous access... Thanks, Mike

This from one of our template developers... Yes you should be able to use a silverlight app. Templates have been built using the Flex Viewer and they work just fine. They key is for the developer to read the web map and app id url parameters and be able to apply that info to the application. For example if they read the web map id from the url they need to be able to build a map based on that id. hope this helps, Mike

Probably the easiest way is to export the data from a feature service from the item details page (as a shapefile or csv), then publish it in the other organization. Go to the layer listed on the item details page and click the arrow next to the name to see the export option. Thanks, Mike

An organization is tied to a subscription, thus there is one organization per subscription. A subscription is effectively the way you pay for the services you use in your organization, through credits. The administrator manages the people allowed into the organization (members) and thus, the people who consume credits the organization has. The administrator has full control over the organization and all members, groups and items inside the organization. The administrator can monitor credit consumption. The administrator can configure aspects of the organization, for example, if members of the organization can see items that are outside the organization (part of ArcGIS Online as a whole), if members can share content outside of the organization, what area of the world the map should show by default, the gallery of maps and apps, and so on. Groups are collections of people that share a common interest. They may be working on a project together where they need to share maps and data with each other. Anyone in the organization can create a group and invite others (in their organization or other organizations) into their group. Members of a group can share items, but the member retains ownership of the item (others can't modify it). The group owner can remove members and content, if necessary. Hope this helps, Mike

The way to do this is to create a new folder with the name you want, move the contents from the old folder to the new folder, then delete the old folder. Mike
