This looks like it's working on my end. Thanks for your help! One last thing... Do you know if there is a way to call the Inbox survey form directly from the Collector app?

Hi Mike, Thanks for your response! I think I might have worded my post a little bit ambiguously. We have captured all the location data on a completely separate system (a Leica GNSS receiver and controller), and we won't be using Collector, Survey123, or our iPad to capture any location data. What I want to do is update attributes using Survey123, so that people doing inspections can pull up the point in Collector, open the form in Survey123, and update the attributes. Do you know if something like this is possible?

We are planning a workflow for the collection of attribute information for assets, and we are looking at using Collector and Survey123, along with a point feature class of known locations for these assets. We need our assets to have exact coordinates, so we are collecting them with a sub-centimeter GPS system. We want to then send someone out with an iPad with Collector and Survey123 to collect all the attributes for these assets. Is it possible to just update attribute fields for these feature classes, without creating a new point? Or, will I have to pass a unique ID, and join it up with the existing points after the fact, and delete the points generated by Survey123?

Hello, I am running ArcGIS for Server 10.5 and Portal for ArcGIS 10.5, as well as Collector 10.4.2 on my iPad. I have all of my features configured for archiving and with Global IDs. I was using the Sync feature last summer, on 10.3, but after updating to 10.5 I get errors, and it won't let me Sync my changes back on to the Server. Here is the error that I keep getting, which I don't understand. I am not using any versioning, so it shouldn't be dealing with replicas at all. I'm not sure if anything has changed, since it was working without any errors on 10.3

I updated them again, and just used a polygon to specify the extent in which I made my changes, and everything is working fine now. It looks like some hiccup happened, but now I will just update whichever areas I actually edited, instead of rebuilding the entire cache.

Redoing the whole cache. I just run it at the end of the day, and let it process overnight.

Yes, I have successfully cached this map service on earlier versions of AGS, as well as cached other map services on 10.5. It gets updated about once a month, so I have been overwriting the same service and cache, so all the maps are updated properly with the new parcel data. I had some problems on earlier versions (sometimes it would stop before it was done, other times it successfully finished), and the same problem came over to 10.5. About half the time it will finish, and the other half it stops at ~95%-98%.

I am building a map cache from some property parcels that we maintain, and when I am trying to cache them, the process stops just before it's finished. I have tried restarting the process, I have tried to recreate empty tiles, I have deleted it and started from scratch, but nothing seems to let me actually finish creating the cache. Does anyone know what the problem may be? The Job Status pane shows that it is completed without any errors, but I have missing tiles in my map cache.

Yeah, I tried it with another eGDB, and it works fine. Is there a way to repair my current GDB, or is creating a new one the only way to avoid the problem?

Whenever I try to create a point feature from a MSSQL Server GDB, if I move the mouse within the second or two it takes to actually create the point, it will be stuck on the "Creating New Feature" window. It doesn't actually freeze, but it gets stuck spinning and trying to create the point. I have to open up the Task Manager and close it from there, since pressing the "Cancel" button essentially does the same thing. I have tested it with a local File GDB, and a File GDB on a network drive (both work without issue), so it may have something to do with it being in a SQL Server instance. Has anyone else had this problem? Or, does anyone know how to prevent this from happening? Thanks!

That sort of solves the problem, but I also want to publish the map on our Portal, so that non-GIS people can turn the subsets of the feature class on and off. If it's not possible to do that, then should I separate them into their own feature classes?

I am creating a map in ArcGIS Pro for my office, and I was wondering if there was a way to turn the unique values on/off, like layers? I am using a coded domain to break a single feature class into 8 different symbols, and I want to be able to allow people to only see whichever coded domain that they want, so it doesn't look cluttered. Is this possible, or would it be better to use 8 separate feature classes for this? There won't be any relationships, joins, or anything else besides just viewing the points. I will include an example of my data:
