If you are publishing from a template or existing layer, the schema of the layer is copied, but no data is transferred over. HI Alex and Michael, If you have data that you want to tile at a larger scale then the ArcGIS Online | Bing Maps | Google Maps tiling scheme, feel free to do so. Depending on the extent of your data and the tile levels of detail, caching your data at large scales can result in a large amount of data, so factor this into your decision. Other things to think about? Do you plan on overlaying other data on this cached data? If so, what Levels of detail will be helpful to gain understanding from your map and/or app? Will you want your users to switch between basemaps that use a different tiling scheme? When you save a web map, it uses the tiling scheme and projection from the basemap, if you switch to a basemap with a different tiling scheme, requests may be made to LODs that don't exist in other basemaps. Hi Naomi, The available label visible range is determined by the available zoom levels available in your basemap. If you can't zoom in past 1:100, then it won't be possible to set your labels to be visible at a larger scale then what is visible.
