Problem with Right of Way corner clips

I think this is an old problem that has reappeared with making corner clips. The subdivision boundary has a rounded corner. In Lot and Units they have added a straight corner clip. I want to create a Public Right of Way parcel in Lots and Units, but I cannot. I have created Lots and Units from Subdivision, using Construct from Parent. Next, I used Construct from Parent and broke the lines to add my corner clip. When I built, the piece going to right of way disappeared.
I also tried using Parcel Remainder to create the small piece. Finally, I had to draw this piece in separately.
Is this a known issue or is there a tolerance somewhere keeping this from working?
see the attached Word doc for an example.
thanks for the help.

Hi Chris

When you did Construct from Parent, did you add a straight, split line between the end points of the curve, ie between points 2 and 3, then built the parcels and nothing happened?

Right now it looks like the software thinks the two lines are the same, and are overlapping. It doesnt understand that the curve between points 2 and 3 is different from the straight, split line that is added between points 2 and 3. This is a bug.

To get around this, you have to add two straight lines between points 2 and 3, then build. During the build process it will merge these two straight lines and you should get two parcels. One parcel being the corner clip.

Is this what you were trying to do?
