I've been working through the ArcGIS Metadata toolkit and one of items it mentions is customized dropdown lists. I have been able to add a sample dropdown list item which conforms to the North American Profile code list.
I can edit metadata with this modification as well as display/export. However there is no where in the toolkit which describes how to import it and have ArcCatalog validate it and pass it along. It always gets dropped upon import.
Is there any information on what has to be modified to allow it to import properly?
