It would be very useful to be able to change the number of starting vertices for flight plans. Especially for Vertical plans.
Our organization does a lot of surveying for vertical concrete slopes where the topography is very simple. The structure itself is vertically tall and we run the drone in front of it. We are often just doing a simple back and forth path in front of the struture. If we were able to change the starting number of verticies to 2 dots instead of 3 we would just need to set the starting point and end point and carry out the flight. With 3 dots it is very easy to mispress and make the path crooked which requires adjusting.
