Hi!

I have a .las file which I uploaded from a local scene in ArcGIS Pro with "Share As Web Layer". When looking at the point cloud without doing anything in ArcGIS Pro it looks like this:

arcgis_pro.png

The software automatically adds some sort of an outline so it's easy to distinguish objects like trees. When I open it in ArcGIS online Scene it looks like this:

arcgis_online.png

The visualisation completely changes and the "outline" is gone. Is there any way to prevent this from happening, or changing the visualisation so it's similar to the one I have in ArcGIS Pro?

EDIT: I just figured out that ArcGIS Pro automatically enables Eye-Dome Lighting which creates the "outline" effect. Is this available in ArcGIS Online Scene?

Hi Erik,

Eye-Dome Lighting is not available in Scene Viewer (on ArcGIS Online). But you could try "Modulate using intensity" in Scene Viewer. This might help you to distinguish objects.

I can't seem to find this option?

The "Modulate using intensity" option can be found going into "Layer Manager" / "..." / "Layer Style" / "Options" in Scene Viewer. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the feedback on the Eye-Dome Lighting.
