Layer not loading in map viewer

Hoping someone can help troubleshoot an ongoing issue we are having with one layer in map viewer in Enterprise 11.2. We keep getting "An error occurred loading this layer" for just this sewer service. It was published from Pro to our Enterprise portal. We have had absolutely no problems with it for over a year, and just started getting this error a few weeks ago. Layer is shared publicly, administrators can see it but no one else can. We checked server logs but didn't see anything we could identify as an error with the service.

What we have tried:

  1.  Deleting the service completely and republishing from scratch (https://support.esri.com/en-us/knowledge-base/problem-the-hosted-feature-layer-is-unable-to-load-in-...
  2. Overwriting the service
  3. Clearing cache/cookies on Chrome, FireFox, and Edge (https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-online-questions/existing-layers-showing-quot-error-occurred/td...

At this point, we are out of ideas and looking for any help! Thank you!

Hey @GeorgiannaStrobin do you still face this issue?

If yes, if you navigate to the ArcGIS Server, and check the debug level logs while loading the layer, do you see anything related?

What is the source for the dataset? Can you validate your registered databases from the ArcGIS Server side?

Anything changed recently? Like a patch installation? Data source change? Credentials?

Sorry about that!
