Importing Zip Code Level Data

Good morning,

This is my first time using this program. I have zip code level data in excel I would like to import into my map as a layer. Is there a 'how-to' guide on how to do this? Thank you.

No. I only have the 5-digit zip codes.

Thanks for the link. I added the lat/long to my spreadsheet for each zip. What are the next steps?

here is the thing. If you have lat/long on each zip, you will only be able to have a point layer. But from what I gather, you want a polygon layer that defines zipcode boundaries correct?

If you just want the point layer to show a zipcode lable you can do the following.

Ideally, yes I would like a polygon layer that defines boundaries. What I need to do is to graphically depict the data I have by zip code.

your best bet is to just download the zipcode layer I have posted. There is no need to re-invent the wheel
