I am trying to create different mosaic datasets for different satellite sensors (WV1, WV2, WV3, GeoEye, Pleiades, etc) but I am not using the predefined raster types for a series o reasons I will not detail here. My question is: Is there a method to extract the metadata information from each of these sensors metadata files (.IMD, .XML, etc) in a single unified metadata file. For example, imagery from Airbus (Pleiades) will have different metadata file (tags, etc) compared to imagery from Maxar (WV1-3, GeoEye, etc). I would like to have one single metadata file template for all these sensors.
