Hi everyone in GeoNet!
Born in Spain, but I work in Suffolk (England) as a cloud developer, for I have a degree in Computing Science.
My personal success has been re-introducing myself to the world of GIS, which I professionally touched (1998-2001) when GIS systems were in their inception phase and everything was more manual! I've just finished a GIS Specialization with University of California, Davis via Coursera, rediscovering the enormous potential of GIS and, through the capstone project, rediscovering the personal pleasure of deep investigation. I've always used ArcGIS.
I also have a MSc in #Astronomy and starting to appreciate the potential of GIS for mapping other worlds. Again, after my capstone project with UC Davis, anything that relates with #remote sensing, #natural resources or monitoring attracts my attention. I gathered during two months a good knowledge of forestry inventories, biomass models, carbon sink and stock valuation, etc. It was absolutely great fun!
