Hi Everyone,
I have a .shp file of bedrock geology which when I bring into ArcMap shows as an outline of the area with lines across each contact seperating bedrock by name. I am able to label each of these sections as they are defined in attributes, but I was wondering if there was a way to label by colour and create a respective legend instead. The goal would be to turn this single colour layer into a multi-coloured layer based on bedrock attribute, similar to turning a map of the U.S.A. into a map where each state was coloured.
