I'm attempting to create a map for a live campus broadcast of the Presidential election that will update following a symbology pattern I define for states that have reported their results. Essentially, I want to update an excel file by inputting a single value and have the map update automatically altering the color of each state to match red or white depending on who won. I would also like to link that to a box in the map layer that would track the number of electoral votes acquired by each candidate, displaying it in a bar graph-type fashion.
If any one is familiar with how to create an automatically updating map of this fashion, I would greatly appreciate it.
