Great question! We currently have it on our future to-do list to add in a Time-slider Widget into a future release of LocalMaps. If you, or others would find this helpful, please like or comment below.
A workaround in the time being would be to create a Configurable App or Web App Builder App with a time slider widget and share this item to LocalMaps. If look and feel is a concern, Lauren made this awesome tutorial on how to make a WAB app look like a LocalMaps app: LocalMaps theme for Web AppBuilder.
