Hi guys,

Do we currently have an option in LocalMaps to display a report widget button/icon? From a local council perspective, a visible button for compiling for instance LIM reports etc would certainly be of benefit to users.

Or is this something that could potentially be developed in a later release?

Thanks

Hi Shannon, just an update on this.

We have implemented a report button in the popup side panel now. So if a layer has a report available, then the button will show. Next version is due out towards the end of the month

Cheers

Hey Shanon,

Thanks for your question and feedback. Unfortunately, there is no reporting widget/icon out of the box with LocalMaps, other than the Generate Report button (see screenshot). However, we have had other requests for this, so we will strongly consider making the reporting functionality more visible in a future release. As a current alternative, some users create a dynamic hyperlink within a feature's pop-up, which generates a report based on an ID field.

Check out this example by HBRC by clicking on a parcel within their Land Use Capability Map.

Hope that helps!
