It would be easier for the user if in the Select widget, it either only displayed the layers that are actually turned on in the map, or if there was an tick box available that would limit the layers shown to be those that are turned on in the map.
In a map with hundreds of layers, it can be very time consuming to find the relevant layers to turn on/off or find after doing a selection.
