First of all, I don't know if this is the right place to make a post in this new GeoNet...
Anyways, ever since I updated to 10.2.2 I've noticed the Breakline tool in the parcel fabric editor sometimes not working correctly. The problem doesn't always happen, and I haven't been able to figure out how to reliably duplicate it. What happens is, the distance I enter into the Breakline dialog is not the distance that the break point gets added at. I think these attached screenshots illustrate it pretty clearly. Anybody else running 10.2.2 seeing this?
I have noticed the same thing. I had to create a separate parcel fabric to get it to work correctly, then append it into the original.
This ended up getting logged as a bug, NIM103758. A problem with Parcel Measurement View, it happens when the parcel has a rotation value. Switching out of measurement view or editing in the local coordinate space is the workaround. I wonder if it happened to you under these same conditions, Jeff.
I think you are right. I think it stopped happening when I turned off measurement view.
I think I posted the same issue here: Construct from parent - Incorrect breakline measurements
There's a video in the first post. Glad to see it's been logged a while back, but sad to see that it hasn't been fixed. It's extremely frustrating when trying to use the fabric.
I would imagine this is an issue every user has when generating parcels within fabric. I know that it took me 2 weeks to find the work around using the parcel measurement view button. Not sure how people do their edits in fabric, but for me, if I need to build new subdivisions, having this fixed is critical.
