Going over the source code for the java 10.2.4 online editing sample was simple enough. However, when I take the same code and use it on a hosted feature service with multiple features I can only add the first feature. Is there a way that I can configure a hosted feature service to behave exactly like or build it differently in ArcMap?

I must be missing something simple. I need a layer that has multiple items that can be added to my secure service layer in my runtime app.
